50 Coal Power Plants Have Closed under trump

Trump's Pennsylvania Popularity Is No Accident

There’s a reason why President Trump is becoming more popular in important Midwestern battleground states like Pennsylvania: Voters don’t want to lose the ongoing economic renaissance that is transforming their lives.

are you embarrassed yet, you started a thread denying this^^^^

[h=1]:palm: They pinned their hopes on Trump, but Pennsylvania coal miners still await a comeback[/h]Donald Trump promised to save the coal industry. But seeing few returns, miners are showing their support may not be unconditional.

Coal country is Trump country. West Virginia finished behind Wyoming in second place, with 61% of voters approving of the President's performance. Alabama (58%), Mississippi (56%), and Tennessee (56%) rounded out Trump's top five states

All of those states are welfare states that take far more from the Treasury than they contribute.

Your assertion that 50 closed coal generating plant is creating jobs is incorrect

What assertion? Who claimed any such thing? I simply presented the documented facts. In one year alone over 1400 new coal mining jobs were produced......with a Job multiplier of 4.4 resulting in over 6000 new jobs related to the mining industry. And that was in 1 year and 1 state only. There are some 25 total coal producing states. The math is not that hard. When combined......there are over 45K new jobs related to the mining and other fossil fuel industries. If 1 job comes back that beats losing them to overseas cheap labor that will pollute the atmosphere anyway without any of the regulations that are existing in the United States. ;) Another "inconvenient truth?" Over 63% of all the electricity produced in the US comes from FOSSIL FULES in the form of coal, oil and natural gas. www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=4267&t=3

You might try some honesty. https://www.npr.org/2018/02/23/5862...p-under-trump-but-not-because-of-his-policies

Dammit, everytime I read west Virginia, I hear John the legend Denver......

Now you will too :)

Again.....what part were you incapable of comprehending? No one claimed that Trump was responsible for anything....I simply presented the documented TRUTH, Coal mining jobs are being produced (regardless of the claims by politicians and left leaning news sources....as I noted so that you could not attack the messenger). The only dishonesty I see....is your constant accusations of pretending to charge ME of something that was never said nor claimed. Everything presented was documented FACTS....all from leftists sources. ;)

Why do all leftists engage in this practice?

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROJECTION: A defense mechanism in which a human ego defends:bigthink: itself against unconscious impulses both positive and negative by denying their existence in THEMSELVES while attributing them to others.

I am being dishonest? Just post the thread number where I said any of the things you accused me of saying. Stroking (Masturbating) your own ego is a terrible thing to waste. What Trump is responsible for is the economic policies that have lead to the lowest unemployment rate since 1969, the lowest unemployment rate "EVER" in the history of the United States for females and minorities across the board. A GDP that is now hovering over the 3% range....something the Democrats said would never happen, get used to the new normal of less than 2% GDP growth....along with a reduced labor force because the BABY BOOMERS are retiring....yada, yada, yada.

Yet we now have more jobs than we do people to fill them. Yet the Labor Participation rate has increased from 62.9 to 63.1% Those damn BABY BOOMERS must have come out of retirement...no? There has been over 5 million new jobs created since Trump took office. Facts are facts, you can attempt to claim these jobs just happened along because of Obama policies and it just took 8 years before they finally kicked in.....or you can accept reality. Business men know how to create new businesses and JOBS....democrat politicians hinder Job creation and business growth because of overtaxation and overregulation. Its not rocket science.

Due to natural MARKET PROGRESSION,NOT ONEROUS GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION.

The top coal states are also among the RAPIDLY GROWING natural gas producers, as well.

Is there some reason people cannot start working in that industry, as a NATURAL TRANSITION, LIKE THEY ALREADY ARE?

Meanwhile:

Your desperate need to attack Pres.Trump just highlights your shallow-as-a-mud-puddle grasp of economics and energy.

Natural gas is more than picking up the slack...due to MARKET FORCES..as it should be.

Indeed.....holding on to the COAL RESERVES is strategic to national defense. Should the need ever arise.....the US has enough fossil fuel reserves to be independent from world sources for well over 200 years. (Coal, Oil, Natural Gas and even Timber)...along with Coal can be converted to internal combustion fuel with ease as demonstrated by the Germans in WW2 (and the technology has come a long way since that time)….when the allies attempted to cut Germany off from their oil suppliers....they simply converted to coal....and almost conquered the world. In fact if the Germans had been 6 months more advanced in their nuclear research....we might all be speaking German as an international world language today. Say what you will the Germans sure know how to take advantage of technology. In my opinion they make the best automobiles in the world.
