The investigations have just begun. Best guess is Trump must have a reason for blocking and stonewalling. Can you figure out why he has not given his taxes out as he promised? Do you know why he has ordered everyone to reject subpoenas and refuse to testify? That is what a guilty person would do. If he were innocent he would be open and show all.

Question? Just what was Mueller investigating? That's a total of 4 investigations....5 if you count the non-impeachment (wink, wink) oversight Mulligan going on right now. FYI: Trump is invoking executive privilege in order to defend the execute branch from an overreaching CONGRESS pretending to be impeaching him. Strange that you did not mention ONE indictable crime that needs investigation after the DOJ spent 25 million and 2 years of FBI investigation via at least 40 agents.....and found no indictable crimes.

It would not surprise me in the least to find the Republicans with a SUPER MAJORTY filibuster proof bullet proof control of all 3 branches of government after the 2020 election cycle. The American People are not as think as Spit slinging Nancy stupid they are. :cool:

Gee. All those Bama people were given complete immunity so they wouldn't have to testify........nary a peep from the media back then.
Plus I haven't seen one specific NEW charge against Trump, so there's nothing to block except another fishing expedition.

There was nothing obstructed, the investigation was not impeded in any way. Furthermore, the investigation was a sham to begin with, there was nothing to obstruct. It's over. Retribution is coming.

You could also add that an absence of underlying crime means it’s impossible for Trump to have had a criminal intent in ‘obstructing’ the investigation.

Mullet knew that an obstruction indictment would see the inside of a courtroom. So he went through some contortions to make it seem like he wanted to indict Trump but was prevented from it by DOJ regulations.

*From the same* book of DOJ regulations that prohibit conflicts of interest in SC investigations, leaking and etc. They really think we’re that stupid lol.

But by almost-nearly indicting Trump for obstruction Mullet gave House Democrats an opportunity at impeachment, without having to show up in front of a jury having to defend the obstruction indictment. An actual trial also means going through those annoying discovery episodes where exculpatory evidence might be revealed.

Of course, it would get thrown out in a Senate trial for the same reasons but that was the extent Mullet was going to stick his neck out for the Resistance.
