Dems taunt Trump with threats of prison time

That’s desperately what Trump is doing in his obstruction right now, in hopes that he will be re-elected so that Mueller’s 10 obstruction attempts will be beyond the statute of limitations.

Interesting question rasied. Does his time a potus toll the SOL, just as his many BANKRUPTSIES did?

"We'll get Trump" isn't a winning platform, it isn't even a realistic expectation. Pelosi's just clinging to her gavel, she has no strategy beyond that. Impeach 46? LMAO
Again...you're stuck on impeachment. Nobody else it. Re. 'platform', I suppose that would depend on what 'get trump' means? Getting him out of office should be a priority for anyone who lives in this country.

Trump's legal concerns, his "29 investigations" fall into 2 categories. Impeachable / indictable. The vast majority of the "29" fall into the 1st category. Conress has, and will do nothing to aid SDNY's investigations. SDNY has had ample time, and has been provided with both documentation, and testimony regarding campaign finance violations, and allegedly fraudulent property valuations, but nothing indicates any criminal prosecution is forthcoming. House D's are posturing with their pseudo impeachment, and SDNY is posturing too. FEC regs, and amended tax valuations are rarely reconciled in a criminal court. Fines and or reimbursement are the reasonable expectations. "Lock him up!" is a supercillious mantra, and it exposes the weakness in the DNC's platform.

Do you have some inside contact with SDNY? If not, what do you base this claim on?

The fact that SDNY is still compiling evidence for a future case?

The reason you cite two categories, and only address the latter, is because a sitting POTUS is not subject to same.

Per the campaign finance violations, Trump jr paid some of Cohen's invoices and hasn't been drug before a grand jury. Trump himself isn't immune to FEC civil liabilities either, and the FEC hasn't sought any reimbursement or punitive fines. All the financial, and tax valuations in question were composed by 3rd parties who have also not been drug before a grand jury, and the NY state dept. of taxation hasn't sought an additional dime in property taxes. Without any evidence of a criminal conspiracy to defraud FEC, or NY state tax auditors, there's zero chance anyone's indicted. No evidence has surfaced, and SDNY hasn't proceeded as if it has undisclosed evidence with which to move forward. Indictment after departure is purely speculative, just like presuming Trump's departing in '21 is.

Ironic that you choose this adjective.

Ironic that you choose this adjective.

Not as ironic as you think. The OP does say that D's are "taunting" Trump with "threats" ... That pretty well illustrates the mantra isn't sincere. My speculations, admittedly they are, demonstrate that very predictable preliminary measures haven't been undertaken by agencies directly responsible for regulatory oversight. Prosecutors cases are much easier to make when FEC or depts of taxation establish monetary civil liabilities. The prosecutor only has to prove the discrepency was intentional. It hasn't happened.

Save your breath, as you may want to blow up your love doll later!

Projecting again?

Absurdity; a sure sign of the last desperate refuge for liars, fools and ignorance; and those who have lost their arguments. Yay you!

Because I refuse to discuss this with an idiot that is still saying Donald Trump is totally innocent of any wrongdoing or impeachable offense!

Ironic when you are an epic idiot who still bloviates that moronic talking point.

Mueller Report; Page 173 V I: Ultimately, the investigation did not establish that the Campaign coordinated or conspired with the Russian government in its election-interference activities.

Barr: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel's investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.

If you are that stupid, you are beyond reality!

You want to see what stupid really looks like; buy a mirror. ;)

We shall, however, continue to slowly drag his ass through the mud, tied by his ankles to a horse and wagon until that fine day.
Bank fucking that.

AND, you will lose in 2020. Then we get to watch another four years of your ignorance, tears and stupidity on display.

Good call. Pg 173 says nothing of the sort.

Here it is; right from the report you willful idiot:

You are stuck on redundant. Parroting the same delusions you see Hannity espouse every night. LMAO @ Kavanaugh. Republicans didn't allow an investigation into the dry drunk. In fact, quite a few women were refused an audience when they demanded to be heard.

Sorry you need a thesaurus. I misjudged your abilities.

I'll bet your shrink uses the term 'projection' in every session. Shame you can't move forward.

Kudos for continuing to make the effort, though.

:lolup:This is why you cannot argue with dishonest idiots.

Remember these words; one cannot argue with delusional, dishonest morons on the left. It's always better to just point at them and laugh.

Honestly I'm concentrating on not being drawn down to their level, and reducing an objective discussion to a name calling competition. The OP's title immediately establishes that democrats are simply "taunting Trump with threats". I said in my 1st reply that the DNC has plagiarized Trump's 2019 "lock her up" mantra and I think the lack of case development speaks for itself. All the potential for financial crimes laid in the documents Maxine Waters received from Deutsche bank almost 2 months ago, and I'd wager Mueller examined all of those records 2 years ago himself.

As you are going to learn, you cannot have an objective discussion with morons. But I bid you good luck in your endeavor and patience to have honest, coherent debates with the morons. ;)

I'm aware of the facts. Which is why I requested that J McCready provide his alternate facts. I expect that McCready carry his own water and detail which of his 29 investigations have the potential to put Trump in prison. Congress hasn't the votes to impeach, and Pelosi's House of reps can't send the POTUS to prison. None of Mueller's secret referrals were for the POTUS. I can only estimate, but I'm confident that eliminating the pseudo impeachment probes, and Mueller's secret referrals, that "29 investigations" meme, boils down to 3 investigations that potentially lead to indictment. Those 3 being predicated on Michael Cohen and obviously that's a problem.

When the Donald gets re-elected the Senate is likely to change hands.
Americans are not happy with the GOP at the moment.
So, again, 14 investigations in congress, 15 more at state level.

Proving you didn't read the Mueller Report.
Thank you, dismissed.

All I'm interested in doing is posting my honest opinions and offer a reasonably objective interpretation of circumstances and developements. Someone has to be willing to engage in a dicussion that goes beyond rhetorical retorts. Decorum and thoughtful consideration is how we distinguish intellectuals from demagogues. I haven't interacted with too many posters yet, so naive as it might be I'll try to stay thoughtful and on topic ... I'm always the optimist.
