Trump's economy is booming, but so is inequality

Argument from randU fallacy. Contextomy.

2017 total U.S. federal receipts from all tax sources: $3,760,542.00
2018 total U.S. federal receipts from all tax sources: $3,973,974.00
Source: Tax Foundation, a statistical group monitoring taxes and budgets of governments, including the U.S. federal government.

LOL!

My source were actual Treasury receipts.

You didn't even source your numbers with links.

Your argument is bad faith, fraudulent sophistry and you know it.

GDP is not employment numbers. False equivalence fallacy. Be honest.

More jobs were created in 2015 than 2018, and we didn't have a tax cut in 2015.

So when you try to exercise sophistry, like you did here, all it does is undermine your argument and your credibility.

ussian tax cuts do not affect the U.S

Sophistry alert.

Boy, that's your sole tactic, isn't it?

The Russia Tax Cut is the tax cut you've been defending this whole time. it's called The Russia Tax Cut because the GOP passed it because they colluded with Russia to win the election.

ormal GDP in the U.S. tends around 3%. It went as low as 0.4% under Obama.

You all promised growth of at least 3%.

You couldn't even hit that low bar.

So far, Trump hasn't had a year of GDP growth higher than Obama's highest, and he never will.

Yes they are.

Nope. Wrong.

Companies aren't bringing back manufacturing jobs. Instead, the definition of "manufacturing jobs" has been expanded to include craft beer, marijuana, and wine...non-durable goods manufacturing that made up a "large contribution" of these "manufacturing jobs" you're crowing about, but ultimately know nothing about because you're just repeating propaganda.

The strong growth includes large contributions from the booming craft brewing, wine and spirits industries, which the federal government classifies as manufacturing and added nearly 30,000 jobs in that time.
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/13/business/economy/trump-manufacturing-jobs.html

So remember, when a Conservative crows about Trump creating manufacturing jobs, just remind them those manufacturing jobs produce goods that serve as escapism from the society Conservatives are destroying. So that's why manufacturing jobs "grew". Of the 400,000 or so manufacturing jobs Trump "created", 30,000 of them are in industries that produce products people use to escape the horrid reality in which they live.

These four companies are not all the jobs in the United States, nor even a majority of the jobs in the United States. False equivalence fallacy. Compositional error fallacy.

You seek to avoid debate by invoking random attempts to label posts you cannot answer as fallacies. Those four companies were just examples of major companies that have cut jobs, despite you all saying that wouldn't happen if we passed your stupid tax cut.

We cut taxes for corporations and they still cut jobs.

No...the only fallacy here is you.

No, it was contracting all the way to the end of 2015

The economy only contracts if GDP growth is negative.

Growth at 0.4% means the economy is still growing.

And in 2015, GDP growth was 2.88%. Trump has yet to eclipse that number, and probably never will.

You're not good at this.

I haven't made up anything.
Lie.
You're the ones who "made up" that the tax cut would increase wages by $4K-$9K - NOT after-tax income, WAGES.
Lie.
You're the ones who "made up" that the tax cut would "pay for itself"
Lie. I didn't make that up.
You're the ones who "made up" that the tax cut would produce at least 3% growth.
Lie. Never said any such thing.
Nothing you've said about your shitty tax cut has been true, so why would you start telling the truth now?
Lie. Argument of the Stone fallacy. Bulverism fallacy.

Lie. Argument of the Stone fallacy. Bulverism fallacy.

So now we get to the point in the debate where you just label any accountability as "a lie" because it's easier for a lazy person like you to do that, than it is to do the work.

You're lazy.

Your arguments are lazy.

Your responses are lazy.

You put in no good faith effort to defend that which you believe; all you do here is exercise sophistry.

You do that because it's all you've done your entire life and no one has ever called you on it, or forced you to accept responsibility for it.

That explains why you have such an entitlement complex.

In the last 26 months of Obama’s presidency, manufacturing employment grew by 96,000 or 0.8%.
In Trump’s first 26 months, manufacturers added 479,000 jobs, or 3.9%, 399% more jobs than Obama’s record.

Is it any wonder that President Obama derided then-candidate Trump for needing a “magic wand” to deliver on his manufacturing jobs promise?

On the other hand, federal, state and local government jobs, many of them creators of job-stifling red tape,
grew by 1.8% in Obama’s last 26 months compared to 0.8% under Trump.

In fact, over the past 26 months, there were 168% more jobs in manufacturing created than in government, while during Obama’s last 26 months, there were 303% more government jobs created than in manufacturing.
This was not sustainable. Government jobs don’t pay for themselves.

And here’s where President Trump’s pro-growth policies come into play.

The current stretch in increased manufacturing employment started in November, 2016—the month of Trump’s election. Employers, especially those faced with making long-term investments in physical plants and equipment, anticipated regulatory relief under Trump.

They got the relief they hoped for.

By October 2018, the Trump Administration cut 2.7 major regulations for every one added, greatly reducing regulatory cost and risk.

In addition, the tax cuts signed into law in December 2017 not only reduced corporate tax rates, encouraging investment, they also incentivized U.S.-based multinational corporations to bring home profits held overseas.

In the first nine months of 2018, these firms repatriated $571.3 billion—money needed for job-creating investment at home, but had been held in foreign countries because America had the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world.

Growth in 2018 was just 2.85%, which was below 2015's 2.88% growth.
