More jobs were created in 2015 than 2018, and we didn't have a tax cut in 2015.
So when you try to exercise sophistry, like you did here, all it does is undermine your argument and your credibility.

Companies aren't bringing back manufacturing jobs. Instead, the definition of "manufacturing jobs" has been expanded to include craft beer, marijuana, and wine...non-durable goods manufacturing that made up a "large contribution" of these "manufacturing jobs" you're crowing about, but ultimately know nothing about because you're just repeating propaganda.
So remember, when a Conservative crows about Trump creating manufacturing jobs, just remind them those manufacturing jobs produce goods that serve as escapism from the society Conservatives are destroying. So that's why manufacturing jobs "grew". Of the 400,000 or so manufacturing jobs Trump "created", 30,000 of them are in industries that produce products people use to escape the horrid reality in which they live.

The economy only contracts if GDP growth is negative.
Growth at 0.4% means the economy is still growing.
And in 2015, GDP growth was 2.88%. Trump has yet to eclipse that number, and probably never will.

So now we get to the point in the debate where you just label any accountability as "a lie" because it's easier for a lazy person like you to do that, than it is to do the work.

They got the relief they hoped for.
By October 2018, the Trump Administration cut 2.7 major regulations for every one added, greatly reducing regulatory cost and risk.
In addition, the tax cuts signed into law in December 2017 not only reduced corporate tax rates, encouraging investment, they also incentivized U.S.-based multinational corporations to bring home profits held overseas.
In the first nine months of 2018, these firms repatriated $571.3 billion—money needed for job-creating investment at home, but had been held in foreign countries because America had the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world.

Growth in 2018 was just 2.85%, which was below 2015's 2.88% growth.
2018 saw the fewest jobs created since 2017, which was the fewest since 2011.
Like I said...you just say everything is a lie, that way you don't have to reconcile it, and you can feel good about yourself.
