Most Now See Economy As Fair to Those Who Work Hard

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...ow_see_economy_as_fair_to_those_who_work_hard

With the economy booming, Americans are much more confident that hard work pays off and are worrying a lot less about the level of government dependency in the country.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 56% of American Adults now think the U.S. economy is fair to people who are willing to work hard, with 26% who say it’s Very Fair. This compares to 46% and 13% respectively in October 2015, the last time we asked this question. Thirty-seven percent (37%) still believe the economy is unfair to hard workers, but that includes only 11% who say it’s Not At All Fair. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The radical, Democrat Socialists cater to the indolent.

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.”
― Alexis de Tocqueville

America has always been the shining sea of opportunity for those who wish to work hard.
What we are seeing being pointed out is that the ones who are not willing, are mainly belonging to the Democrat party in their districts.

Listening to a mayor of a major city in this country, for the 1000th time say in a speech yesterday that the way to reach inner city thugs who are shooting themselves
dozens of shootings in a single weekend, is to offer them opportunity, a job.

Yea right, go into the inner cities where the drugs and guns are the rule the day, and offer them a job, that they have to get up at 6 in the morning commute to work, conform, buy health insurance, car insurance, keep the car registered, tagged, filled up with gas, for a paycheck that the government is going rape before they get their share, week after week after week like the rest of us are doing.
Let me know how that works out.

the only way to clean the inner cities up is harsh penalties for acting like an animal. Funny how we have laws that if an out of control dog bites a child, and we think he has shown this behavior repeatedly we can take him away from his owner and put him down, not because we hate dogs, but because that dog is a menace to society.

Great post, Getin...as usual.

How many 'Trust Fund Babies' are there? People who never have to work because of the Wealth their Parents or Grandparents accumulated.

"What if you didn’t have to worry about money — or at least, not as much as 98 percent of Americans do? Less than 2 percent of the U.S. population receives a trust fund, usually as a means of inheriting large sums of money from wealthy parents, according to the Survey of Consumer Finances. The median amount is about $285,000 (the average was $4,062,918) — enough to make a major, lasting impact. Here, a woman in her 30s talks to Living With Money columnist Charlotte Cowles about how having a trust fund has affected her life."

what does that have to do with anything, Jack?

I guess you would propose that anyone that makes it through hard work is not allowed to give any of their money to their children?
you know how stupid you sound, right Jack?

Jack: Your first sentence made me think about those that 'DON'T work hard'.

2 out of every hundred doesn't sound too bad, does it.

Jack believes that those making the money should be forced to give it to someone of Jack's choosing rather than to those the one giving it chooses.

You're assuming someone having everything handed to them, and it happens, others that don't can't prosper and make it big?

Jack seems to be proposing that because there are Trust Fund Babies others are unable to make it big.
