Most Now See Economy As Fair to Those Who Work Hard

Jack seems to be proposing that because there are Trust Fund Babies others are unable to make it big.

This guy Thomas Paine said "Maybe the King deserves the Kingdom, but does his Son, does his Grandson?".
It was an argument against America having a King, but can also be used about the perpetual 'Wealth Class'.
You know what they say "The first Million is hard to get, the second Million is a lot easier".

Jack believes that those making the money should be forced to give it to someone of Jack's choosing rather than to those the one giving it chooses.

Those people lucky enough to inherit are not a burden on society and their taxes and consumer spending are making a useful contribution.

The king's son is taking his wealth from the people. The son of a wealthy man is getting it from his father who earned it.

The King's son gets handed the 'Kingdom'. The point being, he didn't 'earn' it.
The Wealthy man's son get's handed the 'Family Fortune'. The same point is being made about 'earning' it.

Take King Saud. His Wealth was handed to his Sons. And ... they handed their Wealth to the 5,000 Royal Princes (the Grandsons). The average Saudi is at a Great Disadvantage compared to the 5,000 Princes.

The more important point is that the king's son got his wealth from the people through their taxes. The rich man's son didn't earn his money, either, but it did not come from the people's taxes.

And, unless you think Congress has done a good job of spending our money, giving that money to the government is not fiscally sound.

They're often chastised for that luck yet the first ones looked to by those that refuse to even try to better themselves.

No, you're using it as a way for those unwilling to try to get something that isn't theirs.

What's wrong with the person having something leaving it/giving it to those of his/her own choosing? Why do you think you should choose who gets it?

A lot of really wealthy people only leave a few million to their offspring because they feel it would spoil them and make them lazy and feel entitled.

“He left them enough money that they would be comfortable, but never as much money as the children of his fellow robber barons, who lived in enormous luxury,” Nasaw said in a phone interview. “Money and power were handed down from generation to generation. That wasn’t going to happen with the Carnegies.”

"The future fortune of Paris Hilton, the hotel heiress, has taken a hit after her grandfather said that he would give 97 per cent of his $2.3 billion (£1.15 billion) wealth to charity."

That's their choice. If they want to leave millions upon millions to their offspring, that's also their choice and none of YOUR business.

Well, we live in a democratic society. So, if you believe in a Meritocracy, where people rise and fall by Merit, you may want to 'level the Playing Field? You know, limiting how much of a head start others have over the vast majority.

Meritocracy. Most people support the concept of 'Merit'.
I'll ask CFM, Ring, and Terri: Do you support 'Meritocracy'*as a concept?
Then, I will ask CFM, Ring, and Terri ... if they support 'Affirmative Action'?

No we don't. We live in a Represetative Republic.

if you believe in a Meritocracy

You mean where the harder you work you more you earn? The me you study the better grades you get? I do. Many on your side do not. On your side every kid gets a trophy, even the stupid ignorant lardasses.

It is level. Every single kid has the right to study in school and get all A's (which most do not) and they all have a chance to work hard and get great at what they are do, and most do not.

Today half of kids drop out of high school. So in the near future you will have a lot of whining little bitches wanting to raise the minimum wage so everyone else can pay for their fuck-ups. Oh, wait, that's already happening isn't it.

You know, limiting how much of a head start others have over the vast majority.

LOL!! Straight Communist bullshit. You're an imbecile. If the kid next door to me has a rich dad that gives him a great company, that has nothing at all to do with me studying in school to get all A's, and then working hard to be a success.

Rather than work hard and live a clean life, lowlifes on your side would rather just point to the neighbor, snivel and cry, and demand the government takes his money and give it to them. That is the definition of today's Democrat Liberal Socialist piece of fucking shit.

You really are a dope.
