Pelosi was being very wise and tactical at realizing the disaster area of the House voting to impeach this tyrant, considering his Putin party that still holds a minor majority in the Senate would block it, etc. Also at being prudent and careful at dealing with this devil, might bode well at democrats taking control of the Senate in 2020, and to which tRump was probably hoping democrats would make a fatal error at voting to impeach him: Some rank-and-file congressional Democrats favor starting impeachment proceedings against President Trump. Even Democrats who don’t favor impeachment, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have suggested that Trump’s behavior could be impeachment-worthy, pointing to his administration’s refusal to comply with Congress’s requests for documents and testimony from key officials and the Mueller report’s references to potential obstruction of justice by the president. Pelosi has got common sense enough to know, that the longer that Trump stays in office, the better it will be for the Democrats in 2020.
