500,000 kids could lose lunch due to trump

Charity begins at home and is a voluntary action, not a governmental mandate.

For some reason, bleeding hearts think compassion comes from seeing how many they can get the government to force doing it. The sad part is they take credit as if the money came from their own pockets.

Studies have shown conservatives are much more generous than libtards.

I know no one who doesn’t want hungry children fed.

Should parents who have no children pay for others who have children that they can’t ?

Man of compassion....:palm:

Says he knows no one that doesn't want hungry kids fed

then ask why should ppl w/out kids feed a kid whose parents can't........

Cold hearted SOB!!!!!! Shame on you earl......

Did you miss this, Snowflake?

“I know no one who doesn’t want hungry children fed. Our Catholic Charities feed them every day.”

Are you drunk?

Maybe he only saw the part where you think someone needs to do it, just not you??

Straight out of the bible. What page is that again earl??

Back in Jesus's day the Pharisees took care of that, on which page did Jesus's condemn them for taking the tithe & giving it to those you feel are unworthy??

thanks..

You could be happy that your taxes are helping poor children eat instead of bitching about it. Every government program is not designed to specifically help you.

I don't expect government programs to help me. But you are missing the point about these programs. If a school district uses federal lunch program funds to provide free lunches in the summer and no students show up for meals, my taxes are not helping feed any children so those tax dollars are being wasted.

Or, as a new story reports, wealthy parents are giving custody of their college-age children to others so they qualify for federal grants and loans, my taxes are not helping any low income college students. In such cases these programs are primarily benefiting middle-income and upper income parents, school district employees, food producers, colleges...…..

Since that what what You provided, that is what was addressed.

Now, you're moving the goalposts. You didn't pose it as a hypothetical.

I oppose any program where those that refuse to do for their own demand others be forced to do it. I don't owe their damn kids a thing nor do I think they owe mine anything.

So how do you determine whether a kid benefitting from food stamps or free school lunches has a parent who refuses to do for their own or whether they are working hard but still cannot afford to feed their kids?

Why does that matter?

He already makes thinking adults want to "lose their lunch." Now he want to steal from kids. Like a reverse Robin Hood. Steal from the poor and give to the rich.

Could? Yeah...…..that's real investigative reporting. LMAO:laugh: Yeah and redirecting FUNDS stolen from the TAX PAYERS to begin with.....sure is stealing, if you consider yourself to be an "ENTITLED" left winger that is guaranteed INCOME REDISTRIBUTION, just like its stealing to take away the drugs and hypodermic needles from a person addicted to DRUGS. The left has become so ingrained in GETTING FREE SHIT from the sweat of their neighbors brow...they go into withdrawal at the thought of losing a wheel off the biscuit gravy train. :palm: What happened to "parental responsibility"? Why is the propaganda required that says, "A free lunch is the only meal some of these children will get each day...."? Where are parents in this nation? It takes a village to care for a child because the parents are on food stamps, drugs, and supplement their tax payer incomes through criminal activities is the better question? Yet this same crowd refused to fund the nutritional requirements for BROWN CHILDREN at the border.....for over 6 weeks they refused federal funds going to feed the detained children at our southern border.....NOW a COULD'A, WOULD'A "hypothetical" situation that has never actually happened is presented as objective evidential facts of record?

A better word in the English vocabulary best express this article: P R O P A G A N D A

Its the typical left wing attack.....using children as pawns, attempting the old heart string, tear jerking propaganda such as wheeling crippled children out onto a stage in order promote left wing stim cell research coming from disposed human body parts after ABORTION...etc. EVIL IS as EVIL DOES.

Why would anyone be happy about enabling irresponsible parents?

Bill, you're such a true man of compassion you're willing to support others being forced to feed someone else's kids.

Typical bleeding heart. Always willing to spend someone else's money and take credit as if it was his own.

What's wrong with expecting parents to feed THEIR kids?

When I volunteered in the school kitchens, from grade schools through HS, I RARELY saw a packed lunch. Rich or poor.

The difference? The parents who had money just paid for the lunches. Wish I could say the same for the kids whose parents didn’t.

What's the difference between the parents who provide their kids with packed lunches and those who don't?

I'll tell you:
The parents who provide their kids with packed lunches are good, responsible, loving parents.
The parents who don't...aren't.
