Indeed it is not.

If you can’t afford to feed your children, don’t have children until you can. Don’t expect other parents, many if whom may be struggling to feed their own, to feed your children.

Something I've noticed is that the parent(s) demanding the school feed their kids are the first ones to complain when the school institutes a dress code or a discipline policy they don't like.

I have no problem with schools providing meals...I just wish the programs were much better...Parents are indeed irresponsible sometimes. We try to work with them... There will be many kids who begin school without the supplies they need. We'll provide them. It's all about the kids...bottom line....

If those parents aren't doing what is THEIR responsibility and you're picking up their slack, it's exactly what you're doing. You're enabling them to shirk THEIR responsibility.

How you look at it doesn't change that you're enabling irresponsible parents. Democrat call illegals undocumented immigrants. Does that mean they're no longer committing a crime to come here?

If you were taking care of things, those parents wouldn't continue to demand the school's feed THEIR kids.
