Did Russian Interference Affect the 2016 Election Results?

Of course it did, the Russians haven't been pumping out mass propaganda since 1917 for nothing lol

So you must have some evidence to support such a claim other than the partisan line?

Maybe if Obama had not told the security people to stop their efforts it could have been prevented. Then you would need another excuse for losing.

It has already been posted, a favorite of Trumpkins attempting to rationalize Trump accepting, using, requesting, and then denying help from a foreign nation antagonistic to the US in his election campaign

It has? Good. Do you not understand it? Very clear.

this guy does a study using data from when the Russians were conducting mass propaganda campaigns on social media, then claims the study proves they didn't interfere

okie dokie

don't need any 'evidence'...……...what would 'evidence' look like btw?

the Russians don't conduct mass propaganda campaigns because they're bored

I do, but it still doesn't negate the documented facts the Russian contacts were everywhere, and the Trump campaign welcomed Russian help, built it into their campaign, never reported it, made full use of it, and when exposed, lied about it

what part of the Steele dossier has been proven false?

go

Really good propaganda can’t be proven false.

But that hardly makes it true. The idea is to throw out some unverifiable claims; and since they can’t be proven or disproven—they tend to stick to the target. For example, millions of people think Trump actually paid some Russian hookers to piss on a bed in Moscow. It’s impossible for Trump—or anyone else, to prove it never happened but that doesn’t prevent people from believing it.

And it’s REALLY helpful if you have a compliant media that is more than willing to spread the propaganda; and this is particularly important in the initial phases because once the idea is out there, it’s spreads like a contagion.

Any of that sound familiar? What to wager Putin gets a good belly laugh out of it?

Obviously not. If that were correct Mueller would have said so. He clearly says different.

There is no way you even clicked those links RG. And I know you are incapable of reading them.

Mueller stated the dossier couldn't prove Trump intentionally conspired with the Russians, true, he just gladly accepted their stolen info at every turn

anything else?...…...I take it you didn't read the links?

"Really good propaganda can’t be proven false," which is the exact rationale behind Roger Ailes launching FOX

It is quite clear you did not read them. Or at least comprehend them.

Nah, I'd say their getting campaign data on voter profiles from Manaford to use in Midwestern States was their best

Meh, affecting an election that way is such a long shot it’s hardly worth the effort.

Any putative Russian effect is absolutely dwarfed by media bias; it’s dwarfed by campaign advertising and money spent. To whatever extent the Russians effected the election [and it’s sheer speculation] it was basically ‘back ground noise’ with respect to other effects.

With all the resources at the disposal at both major parties—one of them *fails* to affect an election outcome every four years. To think the Russians can pull it off is pretty outlandish.

It’s conspiracy theory stuff.

Trump never paid for anything from the Russians and Hillary did.
