Has it moved closer to the coast now?
The most recent path map does not look good-big sigh-you two be very careful....
I truly appreciate your posts and updates...it's been very infofmative...and helpfulAt this moment and if it holds.......it looks better than it COULD be for FL.
She's taken her first nudge to the N while still heading W.

She will make the turn North. Stay strong.
Yep I agree. Interesting looking for the timing.
Finally looks like EURO and GFS are in agreement as of 5pm as I expected a couple days ago.
She's crawling along now @ 5mph to the W. She should make her turn N
while just past and over Grand Bahama Island. The closest she'll come to land here in FL
should be in the Stuart/Port St. Lucie area because of the way it juts out along the coast.
After that for the rest of us N of there we should expect mainly TS force winds.
Hurricane Dorian’s cutting it close: Florida’s fate may be a matter of miles
But that’s just one point that forecasters have to choose to place the monstrous storm that packed 185 mph winds on Sunday. It could be within 100 miles of that point, which is why the hurricane center uses — and emphasizes — a shaded cone of uncertainty.
And much of the Florida coast is inside that cone.
Center Director Ken Graham is telling residents don’t bet on safety just because his office specific forecast track has the storm just a bit offshore.
“The cone is so important,” Graham said.
And making matters more touch-and-go is that with every new forecast, “we keep nudging (Dorian’s track) a little bit to the left,” which is closer to the Florida coast, he said.

I heard someone saying they have a "satellite" phone???......I know nothing of this kind of stuff, LOL![]()
Yeah, heard that too. That makes sense. Later on in the broadcast she said the cell service was OUT.
I've been waiting for them to reestablish the link and see the latest, but so far nothing.
I hope they made it through the worst of the second half OK.
The scenes they showed from the eye looked pretty bad. I guess those people on the stairwell with the baby were from the apartment building next door that got the roof flown off.
