So it's not really going to turn North until tomorrow morning.
I heard it wobbled a tad East...

I'll take it....like a jelly fish on roller skates.![]()

Looks like Grand Bahama island is going to have sit under Dorian a bit longer. There are just no
steering currents going on now and we might not see her "lose her moorings" until tomorrow
around noon!!!! At least this is what I see on my system anyway.
Better safe than dead. This is starting to look like a non-event for Florida. Everybody running around for a week, and it just turns out to be another Tropical Storm type weather. Hope everybody had fun standing in line for gas, water, and groceries.

I’ll take hurricanes over large Earthquakes any day. Earthquakes don’t give any warning. Our household always kept supplies, traded out water and freeze dried meals, replaced batteries once a year, gas tank never below half full. It’s a good winter precaution, too. Where I live now, I always keep water as well, but hurricanes you get a warning and can prepare, somewhat, Earthquakes, not so much. They had a small tremor in Anchorage while I was visiting, my poor granddaughter has PTSD, she was at school when the large one hit. She hates them now. This is what happens with Hurricanes. A week of 'Preparedness' ... followed by ... a 'NothingBurger'. This is the exact reason people never leave during 'Mandatory Evacuations'.
'Stretch' doesn't like Earthquakes. This is the reason 'earthquakes' are better than 'hurricanes' ... there's no "Run for your Lives, We're all Gonna Die!"
