Rep. Alexandria Occasion Cortez has 20zK in student loan debt

If you sign on the line to obtain a student loan, pay your loan, don’t expect taxpayers who do pay their loans, to pay for yours.

Taxpayers who do not attend college should never have to pay for those who do.

The anti-Semite has a Smithsonian conflict if she expects taxpayers to pay her loan.

Case closed...except for the far left loons.

Welll said. Hard for the loons to argue against that.

You're kidding, right?

The tax cuts don't apply equally! The wealthy got a larger tax cut than everyone else, and their tax cut is permanent while everyone else's expire in a couple years.

Lazy fucking Flash strikes again.

True, the bottom 40% owe virtually no taxes and get up to $5,000 in Earned Income Tax Credit. The top 50% pay 96% of all federal income taxes. The top 20% pay the highest percentage of taxes.

So, taxes are not equal. But, they apply to everyone equally who has the same income data. Obama raised taxes on those over $400,000 and that was not equal, either, but it applied equally to everyone with the same income data.

Reducing future tax rates is not the same as forgiving a debt that someone else has to pay. Lower taxes does not make anybody pay for what somebody else owes except those who already pay most of the federal taxes when they have to pay for the interest on the additional debt we would incur when the government has to pay for those student loans.

Simple. The tax cut applied to everybody including those who actually paid higher taxes due to changes in some deductions. It did not forgive someone of a debt obligation they undertook when they got the loan. It forgives the debt for an entitled group of college students who think they should not have to pay for a share of their own education. They should pay their fair share.

There was nothing about a level playing field on the Trump tax cuts. So don’t piss on our legs and tell us it’s raining

What is the vote on the bill, groaner?

Of course the far left loons are allowed to pay the older higher tax rates.

When donkeys fly.

I stand corrected. Romney was absolutely correct when he said 47% of society are makers.

I thought he said 47% are takers?

Whatever. Most of those "makers" live in blue states and in blue cities. CA pays for red states to have artificially low taxes. And you know what? Those red states don't even really show a whole lot of growth even with the blue-state-subsidized low taxes.

Excellent. Thanks.

Simple. The tax cut applied to everybody

No it didn't.

People in the bottom bracket saw their rates GO UP.

The cuts for the wealthy were permanent, but the cuts for everyone else were temporary.

The corporate tax cut was not equal to the cuts for everyone else; it was far greater.

You're lazy.

Well, that's the difference between us; I think health care and education are rights, and you don't.

So I'll tell ya what; we'll nominate Bernie or Warren who will forgive student debt, and you can vote for Trump to teach us all a lesson about entitlement.

No Socialist has ever received more than .02% of the national vote in a presidential election (not a primary election).

In the past, this was a Google link but the totally biased Google has removed the link.

It can be researched

Top 20% income starts at $90K.

I wouldn't consider $90K wealthy.

What does the top 1% pay, and what amount of income gains have they seen?

So, taxes are not equal.

So then when you said before the tax cut was equal, you were bullshitting.

You do that a lot, by the way. You make deliberately false arguments and frame things without context either because you're a duplicitous piece of shit, or you're just incredibly lazy.

Obama raised taxes on those over $400,000 and that was not equal, either, but it applied equally to everyone with the same income data.

Obama let the Bush Tax Cuts for the wealthy expire and they returned to the rates pre-Bush Tax Cuts.

So once again, we have an instance of you falsely framing something because you either don't understand it, or you do and are trying to make a false argument.

And what do you mean by "same income data"? That makes no sense.

Reducing future tax rates is not the same as forgiving a debt

Maybe not to you, but to me it is.

Lower taxes does not make anybody pay for what somebody else owes

Lower taxes always result in higher debt and more borrowing. That's what the data from the last 40 years shows. Data you still ignore because it's not convenient for your argument. And yes, lower taxes does result in others paying for what someone else owes. As we saw in Kansas, when taxes were cut, that increased borrowing and out of pocket spending for things like health care and education. So the rich paid less in taxes so that everyone else could pay more for essential services.

except those who already pay most of the federal taxes when they have to pay for the interest on the additional debt we would incur when the government has to pay for those student loans.

The tax cuts caused the debt to grow. You deliberately reduced revenue and that created deficits that added to the debt.

Tax cuts = debt.
