Yeah....there is no such thing as personal responsibility......its was victimization. There would be no market if there were no abusers of this drug...think about it. What? Do you really expect the politicians who are getting lobby kickbacks enriching their own bank accounts to kill off this cash cow? Yeah....and they are going to place term limits upon themselves very shortly. :palm:

You can't rape the willing. :thinking: Really who the hell needs to be prescribed this strong of drug other can those who are terminally ill and in constant pain? But...with all the open borders etc., and support for CHINA and its continued abuse of the American economic system...there is a ready supply of these drugs coming across the border and who knows the quality or purity thereof. The left is demanding something be done...but they are engaging the same illogical approach...they are attempting to take a legal product and prosecute those who are legally entitled to make and distribute this legal substance....its like attempting to control gun violence by punishing the law abiding expecting the criminal to change.

U.S. President Donald Trump is asking Attorney General Jeff Sessions to file a federal lawsuit against certain companies that supply and manufacture opioids.

Speaking during a Cabinet meeting Thursday, Trump said he's directing Sessions to file a separate lawsuit, rather than joining existing lawsuits filed by states affected by the spread of the often-lethal, highly addictive drugs.

Trump is asking Sessions to look out for opioids coming into the U.S. from China and Mexico, saying those countries are "sending their garbage and killing our people."

Trump added: "It's almost a form of warfare."

It was not immediately clear if or when a federal suit would be filed. A barrage of suits have been filed nationwide against distributors and manufacturers in recent months amid the opioid epidemic.

On Thursday, the Trump administration also said it was proposing that U.S. pharmaceutical companies cut production of the six most abused opioids by 10 per cent next year, in an effort to reduce the number of drugs potentially diverted for trafficking.
