It would be the parents that refuse to feed their own that are punishing them. I have no responsibility whatsoever to feed THEIR kids.

I have no pain from childhood. My parents set a wonderful example of what it's like to be responsible and I continued that with my kids.

Perhaps you were one of those whose parents were such pieces of shit that they demanded someone else feed you. I hope your sorry ass went without food.

(You should never apologize for enjoying good food;) And we won't apologize for making sure kids get what they need while they're in school;)
