And it appears it wasn't simply a request. Desperately needed aid to Ukraine was suspended just before this 'request.' That puts them in a r-co-and-hard-place position. They are in the middle of a hot war. They are dependent on that aid. Withholding that aid in conjunction with this 'request,' as a part of trying to get dirt on the son of an election opponent is abuse of power. And it is illegal in the USA. This is bringing more voters and Congress people over to favoring impeachment.
And then to have the President say he can't be investigated while he is holding office? Well, that didn't work for Nixon and it's not going to work for Trump.
