I am not understanding their strategy? I guess they must have known it was going to come out eventually, but their style is to fight to the end.

They admit that they took the Transcript of the phone call out of the regular server, where phone calls are generally kept, and put it into the Top Secret server upon finding out about the Whistleblower Complaint.


How is that not an attempt at a cover-up?

THey will claim it was nat security code sensitive and proper placement of the file

Because it was protecting a private, international conversation from LEAKERS....Einstein.
 
I know Republicans don't much believe in Science!

But it all comes down to Science!

Exactly. We could buy the "national security" thing if the transcript had originally been placed in the normal database. But moving it after they found out about the report? Clearly an attempt to hide evidence and/or cover it up.

Meanwhile, take a look at the Toadstool's Twitter feed. He is in full meltdown mode.

It's not a private conversation because Trump is President.

Every single call POTUS makes is recorded and logged, and there are several people always listening in the Situation Room. They're taking contemporaneous notes and transcribing the call. Likely, a couple of the whistleblower's sources came from there.
 
Here is something else Republicans seem to have a problem with- and that is consequences.

When you feel like you have to win at any cost, there actually will be a cost for doing so!

This time Donald Trump cheated to win again, and this time it cost him the presidency!

Fool us all once- That's on us! Ha! Ha! And all that!

He is still calling that phone call perfect, this is why he needs to be removed. He can't understand what he did wrong, he will do it again.

Nobody is backing him up on that call being perfect. Nobody.
 
This just goes to show you that when there is no consequence for doing something wrong, bad humans will continue to do wrong!

One of the most amazing facts in this case, is the fact that Mueller finally came before Congress and explained that Trump's newly appointed Attorney General was wrong about his report not implicating the president, as it proved that Donald Trump did do many wrong things as defined in his report, but that rules set aside especially for the Justice Department by the FBI prevented indicting a sitting president due to some not-very-well-thought-out and risky executive powers, so therefore- even though this president did all those wrong things as scripted in the Mueller report- the Justice department were unable to indict the president for his wrongdoings!

AND THE VERY NEXT DAY, this president, that thought he got off Scott free for his wrongdoings and without any consequence for his actions, JUMPED ON THE PHONE with the newly elected president of the Ukraine, and committed the very same impeachable offense and HIGH CRIME that got him into trouble in his first campaign!

WOW!

Yes folks, the spots on a leopard never changes do they?

Horse shit. It is the PRESIDENT'S CALL, as to whether or not the conversations he has with other leaders are available to the public, or ANY OTHER CALL, for that matter. He did not lose his 1st Amendment, 4th Amendment and 14th Amendment rights when he became POTUS.

TRY THE ACTUAL FACTS, just for a change of pace, sometime, as opposed to the MADEUPOP BULLSHIT you prefer.

Every single call the President makes is recorded and monitored by those in the Situation Room. Every single call is logged, transcribed, and has contemporaneous notes taken.

Every. Single. One.
