The percentage of American engaged in farming is very low -as Big Agri take over.

I'm talking about landscapers,carpenters,and general grunt work ( so called ditch diggers) where illegals flood the workers pool and drive down wages

But the real reason the ACA has failed is the same reason that any single-payer program would ultimately fail: The government simply doesn’t have the capacity to know and make decisions about what’s best for millions of individual people. Health care is one of the most personal services we consume, and the choice ought to lie with us, as patients, about whom to see, when, and how to value different services. That's something that a single-payer system can never deliver — no matter how cleverly named.

Let's do some math:

The study's findings mean the plan would cost on average around $3.3 trillion every year. By way of contrast, the federal government's total spending in 2017 came to $4.15 trillion.

What does $3.3 trillion mean? Let's assume there are 128 million workers. Of those, approximately 45%, or 58 million do not pay any taxes at all. That leaves 70 million tax paying Americans.

The Federal budget is currently over $4 trillion. But lets keep it simple and say $4 trillion. Now, we add $3.3 trillion which means the budget balloons to $7.3 trillion. Divide 73 trillion into 70 million and come to a tax bill of $104,285 per working tax payer annually. What we also know is that Government ALWAYS underestimates the real costs so these costs could go even higher.

So now we have a substantially higher cost to the US taxpayer and we will have have massive waiting lists because once the Government breaks our healthcare system, they will also limit how much doctors can charge, limit costs on drugs and reduce the amount of hospital beds available to contain costs.

No folks, the math just does not work. By the way, Canada and other nations with massive Government run programs do not provide for eye, ear and nose and/or dental. You pay on top of the massive taxes you will be burdened with.

Eh, not really.

What's actually happening is that automation is reducing principal operators.

Hire and contract labor as a percentage of all farm jobs grew from 25.3% in 2000 to 41% by 2016.

It's the business that is making a choice to pay those low wages. So your anger should be directed at the businesses, not at the labor.

A new Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday shows a majority of Americans do not think President Donald Trump should be impeached and removed from office.

Only 37% of respondents think the president should be impeached and removed, while 57% do not.
