We pulled out what, LESS THAN 2 weeks ago--the raid had to be planned before that. So why did we pull out THEN? Wouldn't that have likely endangered the plan? The only thing I can think of is we got some very late breaking INTEL that he was there and we went for it.

It will all come out. Stay tuned. This could have fallen in Trump's lap.

I have a question for you antiwar zealots. With the exception of Desert Storm, how does the current fighting in the ME compare with Vietnam? The answer is neither war was and is being fought against established armies in uniform but bands of disjointed gorilla units. That alone makes the war drag on.

We went to WAR against Saddam who was a despot self serving and a secular (sound familiar?). Saddam had an ARMY. TRUMP/CHENEY and the head of the CPA, the flagrantly INCOMPETENT Paul Bremer, Bush ensconced to oversee it, disbanded Saddam's ARMY. Any bells? The lucky ones who had the money or the connections, FLED. The left behinds joined 'disjointed gorilla units,' bands of thugs or ORGANIZED. One of those loosely disjoint bands of gorilla units became ISIS.

The rest is the cascading unending law of UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES.

Does everyone here realize that ABU GRAHIB gave some of the players in these 'disbanded gorilla units' their START? You know, like BAGHDADI. The genesis of ISIS was formed in Abu Grahib.

You know I'm just thinking maybe shit like this fostered ill will among IRAQIS whose country was bombed and went spinning OUT OF CONTROL. But then I'm just an AVERAGE American sitting comfortably behind my computer trying to figure out how the fuck we got here.
