Proposed Debate Question

Hello Penderyn,

It's just amazing. We have these rich oligarchs holding so much power, making most crucial decisions, and yet the uneducated and uninformed blame powerless migrants for the problems of society. Remarkable phenomenon. Masterful blame-shifting on the part of big money PR. Very effective.
Ask the parents of Kate Steinle about “blame-shifting” or the multitude of victims of crimes by illegals,

But back to "debate questions"

we all know evidenced by the fact the DNC will not allow FOX or any other conservative organization to host any of the events that there will never be any hard questions asked.
but

maybe ask "Understanding that you all believe in open borders, is there any limitations you think should be put on undocumented people entering our country, ok Sleepy Joe Quid pro, you can go first"

maybe CNN could ask " What policies of yours will keep the economy humming like the well oiled machine it is at present, OK, Pocahontas you can go first and bake that 40 trillion dollar health plan of yours into the answer please"

Good morning Jack,

Teacher pay is hardly a function of the capitalist free market. When States wish to improve education one of the main ways to do that is pay teachers more and give them better benefits. This will attract a higher caliber of teachers who are more dedicated to results. The reason teacher pay is kept low is because of Republicans who don't want to raise taxes on the rich to pay for it, and Republicans who secretly do not want more smart people in our society because the smarter people are, the less likely they are to fall for a stupid hateful conman like Trump.

The point being, as Stone was pointing out, Immigrants lower Wages for Americans. If you can replace American Workers with Third World Workers, Wages will stay stagnant or not increase.
One of the reasons American Companies go Overseas is because of CHEAP LABOR.

yes. a big reason why globalization zealotry is bad. plus, the fossil fuel used to ship all this crap around the world, is a cost in gold and blood that just isnt worth it. its only worth it to globalists to put first world citizenry out of work.

For Dem candidates:

"Republicans have left us with a trillion dollar budget deficit, spending that simply does not get paid for, and instead is tacked right onto the debt. Do you have a plan to clean up this Republican budget mess by paying down the deficit before you begin to pay for any new programs you propose, such as health care reform?"

What do you want to hear asked?

Post here the questions you wish would be asked during the next debate.

Assess a supplemental tax on residents of all congressional districts whose Representatives voted for the multi-trillion dollar Iraq War Disaster.

Return the income and investment tax rates back to the rates we had during the prosperous Bill Clinton years.

Implement Medicare for All - it won't cost any more if we pay for health care through tax deductions than it does to pay for it out of pocket to insurance companies.

Subsidize higher education and vocational trade schools, or make them free.

Subsidize day care, make paid sick leave and maternity leave mandatory.

Build an infrastructure and public commons worthy of a 21st century modern nation.

Wait, the previous administration played no role in driving up our current debt situation? Federal revenues are up under the Trump Administration, it's the damn spending stupid. You idiots think we can tax our way out of this mess by raising taxes, which would likely lower revenues. Furthermore, these damn candidates you are questioning, want to add trillions upon trillions more debt. Medicare for none alone will cost at least 52 trillion dollars. Warren claims she's going to pay for that by taxing billionaires, did liberals all flunk math class? Even if we confiscated every last penny from every last billionaire in this country, it would raise about 8 trillion dollars. Tell us again how that math is supposed to work? Get the fuck out of here. But of course, you're too much of a coward to respond.

Hello Jack,

One of the reasons American Companies go Overseas is because of CHEAP LABOR.

We can't compete with overseas labor rates because they either don't have a minimum wage or it is so low they can constantly undercut us. We in the USA have decided there must be a floor to wage cuts. We know there are a lot of employers in the USA who would pay people even less than minimum wage, and the only reason they don't do that is because it is against the law.

Overseas labor also is not burdened with as much expense for environmental regulations. China and India have spectacular pollution that we in the USA decided we don't want. And we have labor protections which are not available to overseas workers, such as unemployment compensation. These things make America greater than them. We don't want to give up on these things and be like them.

Immigration does not lower wages in the USA. They are already as low as they can legally be. Most entry level jobs are already prevented by low from paying less than the federal minimum wage.

If we didn't have that, we'd lose worker protections, environmental protections. Since we do have these things we get out of having the disgusting and dangerous slums and shanty towns which are found in nations without these important protections. And wages would have fallen much lower a long time ago. Wages are prevented from going any lower by law.

Hello StoneByStone,

Interesting question. I'm not sure I agree with the premise. How does letting unskilled laborers into the USA, who usually do migrant farm work, landscaping or janitorial work that Americans don't want to do, cause lower wages for a nurse or a teacher? Most well-paying jobs require training and certification that refugees do not usually have.
Because they will do it for less.
Citizens may not want to do this work but when its all they are qualified to do, they do but for higher pay.

For Dem candidates:

"Democrats under Obama have left us with a TEN trillion dollar budget deficit, spending that simply does not get paid for, and instead is tacked right onto the debt. Do you have a plan to clean up this Democratic budget mess by paying down the deficit before you begin to pay for any new programs you propose, such as health care reform?"

Answer; Politalker, we plan to add $30 trillion to that deficit and debt and YOU'RE going to be suckered into paying for it.

How do you intend to retrain everyone involved in the health ins business to have gainful employment again after you put their industry out of business ?
Followup, how will you replace that GDP ?

How do you continue to pay for healthcare for all after that 6% tax coupled with the others drive that wealth down?

How will you replace the clinicians who drop out to strictly private boutique practices? (Note: this is already an issue.)

Global Capitalism is here. Yes. It "put first world citizenry out of work". Deal with it.

We're supposed to pretend that Obama was never President and the $9.8 trillion he ran up was all Bush's fault. ;)

the answer is you can't, and you can't

Pocahontas has just disqualified herself from being President with that feeble attempt to cover her tracks.
She spoke out of turn that she had a health plan, then when pressed on the specifics she was forced to come up with a fairy tale.

trump will spit her out like yesterdays gum. and when the American people hear her answer to putting 2 million people out of work
"they will be retrained" :rofl2:

Americans like to laugh don't get me wrong, but DISQUALIFIED

Democrats are a mess right now, look no further than this all out blitz to act like they are going to do something they can not possibly do, impeach :rofl2:

StoneByStone: "Letting in immigrants from the third world results in lower wages for Americans. Will you try to reduce third world immigration, and if not, then how do you plan on keeping wages from falling?"
PoliTalker: "I'm not sure I agree with the premise. How does letting unskilled laborers into the USA, who usually do migrant farm work, landscaping or janitorial work that Americans don't want to do, cause lower wages for a nurse or a teacher?"

1. You are wrong on your assumption that Third World Labor just takes 'farm work".
2. You are wrong that the Minimum Wage of $7.25/hr. is a 'Living Wage'.
3. You are wrong that "Immigration does not lower wages in the USA".

Let's take it to the Next Step: Will Automation, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence 'lower Wages' ... or put American Labor out of Work?
(this is what that asian guy Yang is bringing up at the Debates)
