Two Senators who voted for authorization of the war were Democratic Presidential nominees. One Senator who voted for it was a VP and is currently a front runner for the nomination.

Looks like your party isn't all that different from the Republicans is it?

I wish a candidate would have the balls to say "we're going to look back 15 years at the Iraq War and finally hold those who lied us into it accountable by turning them over to The Hague".

Who says Biden is the front runner? There was a poll released yesterday of 4 battleground states that all showed Warren as the leader.

Furthermore, it's that Iraq War vote, among many others, serving as the reason why Biden doesn't have broad support.

The argument that we should have known better than to trust Conservatives when they lied about Iraq is definitely a valid one, but also a disqualifying one in my view.

If you didn't know the GOP was full of liars, cheats, and frauds before the Iraq War, then your judgment ain't that great and you probably shouldn't seek higher office.

Yes, there were a lot of Democrats who took Conservatives at their word, and who were duped by Bush into thinking Iraq was a threat. Most people got duped into thinking that.

What matters is if you recognize that today.

I didn't vote for Clinton in the primaries in 2008 or 2016, partically because of that Iraq War vote.

What I don't understand is why you think this is a legitimate line of attack against Democrats when all it does is raise the issue that Conservatives lied about Iraq to dupe people into a war.

Why do you think bringing that back up is a winning issue for you today; all it does by doing so is remind everyone that you all lied about the Iraq War intel and tried to stifle dissent.

Let's remind everyone that it was the GOP who pushed the Iraq War lies and duped people into supporting that dumb thing.
