The Supreme Court just blew up the Obstruction of Congress charge.

Because they are impeaching for exerting Executive Privilege now, Shit stain. What would stop a Republican House from impeaching a Democrat President for exerting Executive Privilege.

where is his declaration of executive privilege?

and you melt away into the sewer

Trump lost these cases in lower courts. he is simply saying he is above the law. You agree. They were settled in courts. trump still refused.
We have held that people have to respond to subpoenas forever. Nobody ignored them and no president ordered others in his admin or who may have knowledge to simply ignore them.
These are not the same thing.

the appeals process wasn't finished. stop being idiotic.

so SCOTUS is hearing a challenge to subpoenas -meaning Congress can't impeach for Obstruction to Congress,
since they didn't take it to court.

This is what I've kept saying over the last few days.
This is how the framers set up the solution to this very situation, should it ever occur.
When there is a dispute between the Legislative & Executive branches, it is then
taken to the Judicial branch to resolve.
The House ignored this crucial Constitutional step. This is why Jonathon Turley explained
that it is the House Dems who actually "obstructed Congress".

Several of the House Democrats should be impeached for pulling this shit.

Pattern of obstruction

and yes when the TRIAL begins any new FACTS can be added to the case

tell me how judges responses to the utterly idiotic claims trumps lawyers have proffered cant be used as evidence ?

some of those judges REALLY WENT OFF on the unconstitutional claims

into the trial they go

dear fucking idiot ,

they are allowed to make the case with the INFORMATION they DO HAVE.

they are NOT REQUIRED to take the court route to gain FURTHER evidence

its evident you are DENSE

fuck you very much

Yes they are. Only a court can issue a subpoena.

Are you really that dense? This is about how the Executive Branch resolves Disagreements with the Legislative Branch. There are three Coequal Branches and disputes are resolved in the courts.
I'll type slower, because I see that it is you who is dense. The obstruction of Congress was one of the articles of impeachment. The SC is hearing the case that trump will lose re. his tax returns.

Nothing to do with the impeachment. Separate case altogether. One that will land trump et al in jail down the road.

That is a lie. Obama gave Eric Holder Executive Privilege for Fast a Furious documents. No one Impeached him for it. But you missed the nuance here. The SC is deciding on a subpoena dispute between the Legislative Branch and the Executive Branch. That is EXACTLY how it is supposed to work. The House should have taken the subpoena disagreement with the Executive branch to court. This SCOTUS case just blew up the whole he ignored our subpoena so we are justified in impeaching him. Now if Trump ignored the subpoena AFTER it was adjudicated in court then impeachment would be indicated.
perfect description..well done

There Supreme court just blew up the impeachments Obstruction of Congress case today. How you say? They agreed to review the validity of the subpoena that Congress gave Trump over his financial records. That means the way to resolve deputes between Congress and the Executive branch about Congressional subpoena's should be resolved in the court. Congress says Trump obstructed Congress when he claimed executive privilege but the court just proved that subpoena needs to be upheld by the court before Trump has to obey it.

Big stretch. This has nothing to do with impeachment or the obstruction of Congress. I don't think executive privilege applies to private financial records.
