'Unfathomable': Franklin Graham slams Christianity Today for demanding Trump removal

You really think evangelicals support Trump because they think he’s a good Christian lol?

Tell me you really don’t think that.

As an actual evangelical here’s why I support Trump: first because of his policy ideas. How about this economy? That’s one win for my vote. Another reason is we [the country] *desperately* needed an outsider that wasn’t beholden and couldn’t be bought—and look at what they’re trying to do to him AND HAVE DONE TO HIM. I rest my case on that. No new wars—another win. So far so good and I would absolutely vote for him again.

Notice religion hasn’t come up yet.

Trump’s sins are in his past as far as I or anyone else knows. What am I supposed to do with that *as a Christian*? Maybe I have a few of my own sins in the past. Don’t we all. I’ll stand aside and let others cast their proverbial stones.

That said, Trump also stands between us and the radical left who can barely conceal their disdain for Christianity or Christians. That’s a big factor too, and I’m pretty sure Brother Franklin—and his dad, would agree with me.

Pres.Trump in UNABASHADLY PRO-LIFE....and PRO-RELIGIOUS FREEDOM....it ain't rocket science.

Billy Graham was always kind of a hack. I doubt his son is much different, but the left has its own religion of progressivism -- complete with a different set of dogmas and unproven assumptions.

Please explain how Graham, "was a hack".

He stopped FIGHTING THE SCIENCE, which states, UNEQUIVOCALLY, that Life begins at conception.

No matter how many caps and bold fonts you use, that is still not true. Thankfully my job is not and never has been to educate the willfully ignorant. So have a lovely day!

only you christer roach goyim believe that

Jewish law does not consider the fetus to be a being with a soul until it is born. It does not have personhood. Furthermore, before 40 days, some poskim, or deciders of Jewish law, have a low bar for allowing an abortion.

The Talmud, in Yevamos 69b, cites the view of Rav Hisda that “until forty days from conception the fetus is merely water. It is not yet considered a living being.”

If there is a threat to a woman’s life, the safety of the mother takes precedence over continuing the pregnancy at any stage. Many sources illustrate this graphically and rather unambiguously, and all modern poskim, or religious decisors, agree on this. In fact, in certain circumstances, a fetus that endangers the life of the mother is legally considered a “murderer” in active pursuit.

abortion is legal in Israel
Yes. All Israeli women seeking to terminate a pregnancy (and have it paid for through state health insurance) must appear before a three-person committee, but in practice nearly all requests are granted. There are no laws limiting when an abortion can be performed, and a woman whose request is denied by the committee can still seek an abortion at a private clinic. Estimates are that about half the abortions performed in Israel are done in private clinics. As of 2014, abortions were paid for entirely by the state for women aged 20 to 33, and subsidized abortions were granted for those outside that age range.
