Trump declares the 1973 War Powers Act unconstitutional

My neighbor's dog buried a Snausage in the ground and I'm sure they'll have a Snausage tree before you get a decent answer from Truthie.

I think you have sausage between your ears dumbass.

The 1973 War Powers Act is constitutional until SCOTUS, not Trump, rules otherwise.

You're a low IQ dullard that no one needs take seriously. Congress cannot remove the powers of the Exec. It doesn't matter how many times idiots like you parrot moronic CNN narratives.

The President is not empowered to decide what is constitutional and what is not.

The members of the House of Representatives were not elected to determine our foreign policy. That is the sole purview of the Executive branch. You asshats don't like it, win an election.

Sick little fuck aren't you?

Speaking of sick little fucks, can you remember how strongly you supported W? Then there was McCain, and then Romney who could do no wrong. Today they are at best, road kill. Trump will follow just as soon as the next republican comes down the road. This is why you are so full of shit. You have no values other than being paid your 10 cents per post.

Speaking of sick little fucks, ...................blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah

You are a very simple lady, so easy to read and fucking ignore.

You're a very sick, triggered, lying little moron.

You should kill yourself. You're a nobody. You'll always be a nobody. You're a moron. You will always be a moron. No one will miss you. No one would care. The worlds collective IQ would increase and it would save the valuable oxygen you waste with every breath.

John Bolton told him so:

President Donald Trump on Thursday declared the 1973 War Powers Act was unconstitutional and called for it to be repealed.

Since the 1803 Marbury v. Madison opinion, it is the Judicial Branch, not the Executive Branch, that has the power to declare laws passed by the Executive Branch to be unconstitutional.

Former Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton declared the law to be unconstitutional.

“The 1973 War Powers Resolution is unconstitutional,” Bolton argued.

“It reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of how the Constitution allocated foreign affairs authority between the President and Congress,” he continued“The Resolution should be repealed,” he urged.

Trump said, “Smart analysis, I fully agree!

Flashback: Pelosi Said Obama Did Not Need Authorization to Attack Libya

The House passed a non-binding War Powers resolution on Thursday to rebuke the president for his decision to take out Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani.

"We deserve the respect from the administration and that Congress deserves under the Constitution,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said from the House floor. “The Constitution of the United States calls that there be cooperation when initiating hostilities."

"The administration took this action without the consultation of Congress and without respect for Congress’ war powers granted to it by the Constitution,” Pelosi said about the U.S. strike that killed Qasem Soleimani.

But back when President Obama decided to bomb Libya in 2011, in response to zero Americans being killed, Pelosi defended Obama's decision at the time by saying the president did not need congressional authorization to launch such attacks nor to keep U.S. forces in Libya.

But like many things, Pelosi and the Democrats' views on the power of the executive branch have changed since Donald Trump became president.

(CNSNews.com) House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said she is “very protective of congressional prerogative” regarding military action but believes that President Barack Obama did not need Congress’ authorization to take action against Libya and does not need it today to continue with the operation.

Let me respond by saying I’ve always believed that it’s very important to respect the prerogatives of the Congress in terms of being involved in any military action, A. B, that the consultation between the executive and the legislative branch is essential whenever we engage in a military action. I believe the limited nature of this limited – of this engagement -- allows the president to go forward,” Pelosi said at a Capitol Hill press conference on Thursday.

Pelosi is full of partisan rancor to the point of being a hypocrite -
but don't expect fake news to call her out
