Being under oath did not keep Clinton from lying and I don't think it would keep Trump from lying, either. We have heard Trump's explanation whether true or not. Having him repeat it before the Senate acquits him is nothing but drama.
 
Trump has lied all his life and he is a good liar. The oath, constitution, and these mindless followers of his means nothing to him.

He will continue to lie because McConnell and Graham are right there with him. Love to know the kick backs they get. What a cowardly majority in the senate.

But I don't think you want the best defense for the accused--you want anything you think will hurt Trump; instead, you are trying to make some kind of moral argument about taking the stand.

Yes, it is. I was discussing why TRE45ON won't be allowed to testify with Flash, because he drips lies like regular ppl shed dead skin. Trump that is, not Flash.
