It is the duty of the president to ask foreign leaders to investigate American citizens in their country? That is not the president's duty.

What was the cause to begin such an investigation--what evidence did they have? Being appointed to a board with no experience is not a crime and happens all the time in the U. S. And the Ukraine already did an investigation.

The President resides over our Foreign policy. If there is corruption in a foreign country and involves Americans, he should ask for it to be investigated.

This moronic narrative that Trump was trying to get dirt on Biden for political advantage is lame and moronic in that it PRESUMES that Biden has the DNC nomination in the bag. That's rather presumptuous given the current climate.

There is a specific procedure involving the Justice Department for such an investigation. Why hasn't Trump shown any concern about the other corrupt nations getting federal money? The only investigation he asked for was about Biden. If corruption is so bad in the Ukraine asking about one person does not seem to be doing much.
