I know, I have certainly had to cut back on contributing to charity organizations and organ drives etc. since I retired and now living on a limited income myself.

Now, I have a few friends and associates that are struggling financially right now that I know, because they frequent the same Biker/Musician Club I am a member of. I've hooked some up with employment opportunities, and contracted them to do some work for me in the past, bought them drinks, and loaned them some small amounts of money before. But that's about all I can do anymore to help them.

I believe that when you have necessary taxpayer funded programs like the IRS, Social Security, Medicare, Welfare etc, you have to fund them in a manor at which you can investigate them, police them, eliminate the fraud and abuse that gets out of control- just because the funds are not there to manage them properly.

There no authority in the Constitution that authorizes the creation of Social Security, Medicare, or the Welfare programs in the federal government.

The IRS is authorized. Congress has always had the authority of taxation. Creating a department to handle the details of that is completely authorized. Income taxes were authorized for Congress to collect by the 16th amendment.

The purpose of the IRS is to handle the details and enforcement of taxes, which Congress is authorized to collect. Congress has always had the authority to tax.

No, the Constitution you hate has specific provisions in it related to the military. Nothing about collecting taxes says "IRS".
