That doesn't justify a trial without witnesses.
Unless it was painfully obvious Trump was guilty,and Republican Senators were scared they would have to do their job.

So because the House fucked up and did a shitty job of impeachment you want the Senate to do all the work and clean up the mess the Democrats made trying to rush the impeachment before the election.

I want the Senate to do their job and hold a real trial to see if Trump is a criminal.

The way I see it the House determined Trump committed impeachable offences. They then should have the burden of proving their case to the Senate. It is not up to the Senate to retry Trump. It is their job to determine if the House proved it's case and take the appropriate action.

What you are asking is like someone being convicted of a crime on circumstantial evidence and expecting the appeals court to completely reinvestigate and try the case anew.

Before you make judgments you should have all the facts or keep your fucking opinions to yourself. One thing I was taught in the military is you don't dress down someone on your side in public. So hot shot you have no idea what occurred after her post.

All these witnesses you claim are vital and when the House had a chance to call them they did so with a whopping total of zero.

Where does the Constitution say additional witnesses have to be called. It's clear the Senators, other than the Democrats and two POS Republicans, realized the evidence from the House was so weak, it wasn't necessary to do what the House couldn't do.

What's hilarious about Collins and Romney are that Collins could never be President and Romney lost to an unqualified black when he ran for the office.
 
The Senate has no obligation to correct the flawed Articles that never reached the level of impeachment and where no crime was committed.

Bill committed crimes and was not convicted.
