Why are racists afraid to be called racists?

Another problem is the shitty, snarky tone that many righties use when talking about minorities.

But true, hard core racists are not the least bit shy or apologetic about it.

Certainly there is racism and sexism directed towards white men and it gets justified by the fact that white men have a long history of directing racism and sexism towards minorities and women. That doesn't make it right, it makes it revenge.

That having been said, white men still engage in racism and sexism too.

The long and short of it is that no group is immune from racism, be it on the giving or receiving end.

With a very few exceptions, I don't call many people racists and sexists or harp on the subject, because I know it's not as black and white (no pun intended) as a lot of people make it out to be. Racism and sexism are very subjective things and exist in varying degrees in different people. But nobody, even and especially those who call other people racists and sexists the most often, is 100% guilt free.

Racism and sexism are merely a part of human nature that everyone should make an honest try and do the best they can to overcome, with the understanding that no matter how much anyone tells themselves they aren't, the truth is probably closer to them being a little bit, even though they like to think otherwise.

I would say it's virtually impossible to be 100% non-racist or sexist.

Everyone has their prejudices.

it's not revenge either. revenge is against perpetrators of a previous injustice, not merely individuals the same race as the perpetrator.

affirmative action is collective punishment, illegal according to the u.n.

To say white men never committed injustices just proves that all you're interested in doing is playing the same poor innocent victim card as those who accuse everyone else of being racists and sexists.

Everyone is guilty to varying degrees and yes, those who harp on white male racism based on history are using that to justify their revenge.

It's just that simple.

McSlawber is banned and he's so addicted to this place I don't doubt he's got a sock here. Personally I considered it a relief when I was banned for a week. I actually extended my sabbatical another week.

I'm not a liberal, therefore I don't know; but you probably should ask some of our JPP liberals why they're racists.
