Testing or no testing it is irrelevant and changes nothing. And here is why. You won't listen because you are a limited thinker and devoid of logic and reason. But, hopefully I can educate others who are interested.

1) The first reports out of China were on December 31st, 2019
2) If we trust the Chi Coms and with an incubation of at least two weeks that means that COVID19 had been spreading since early December
3) If we don't trust the Chi Com's then it is very conceivable that COVID19 had been spreading since at least late November

4) President Trump did not restrict travel from China until January 31st

5) That means that people from China potentially having the Wu Flu haven been traveling the world infecting people since at least the middle of December 2019 and maybe earlier. So it is highly probable that it has been in the United States since at least December.
Now this is where logic and reason comes into play. You with me so far?
6) If this were really a deadly disease with a HUGE mortality rate, our health care system would have seen a spike in illnesses throughout the country or in pockets. Our healthcare system would have been alerted sooner as people would have been showing up to the emergency room in numbers out of line with the normal flu season.
7) We didn't see any of that. Not at all. No reports in the media of spikes of visits to the ED. Nothing reported from state Departments of Health
So there you have it. Common sense guided by logic and reason tells me that this is going to be no big deal in the aggregate. Yes, we should take some precautions, but no more or less than we should take when people have the common cold or the flu.
We should not be shutting down sporting events etc.
