Gov. Jay Inslee on Monday raised questions about some alarming new COVID-19 test results coming out of a handful of rural counties.
The statewide average for people who test positive for the coronavirus is 7.5 percent, but the governor pointed to several other counties with large positive rates, including:
Skagit County, where 21 percent of tests came back positive;
Adams County at 19 percent;
Island County at 17 percent;
Benton County at 16 percent;
Franklin County at 15 percent.
