Another Thing trump Takes Credit For Turns To Shit

Hello Cypress,

As we crash and burn, as we teeter on the edge of a Second Great Republican Recession in the last 12 years, I have not seen a Trump boot-licker use the slogan Keep America Great in a while.

The 2020 Trump campaign slogan appears to be evolving into some permutation that it is Obama's fault, China's fault, and WHO's fault

Spot on.

Seems like we have entered the strange world of Dr Suess' Whoville with this prez.

Nice. I see that you are unable to defend #COVID45. Instead, you launch a pointless personal attack.

Why don't you list for us all the wonderful and effective things that the IMPOTUS has done since this virus showed up in our nation? Here's a list. Show us that none of this is true:

Ok, you're a nice lady so I'll tell you why I don't take the point of this thread seriously.

A large reason for America's economic recovery under President Trump is due to becoming energy independent through a boom in US energy production.

Any person who follows current events knows that President Trump is directly responsible for that ... he also showed that we could have done that anytime.

So now we have a lefty who starts a thread that basically celebrates the loss of so many oil industry jobs ... and then he blames the President seeking political points.

The genesis of this thread is frustration and desperation ... nothing else has worked ... maybe we can impeach him because the price of oil dropped.

The point the OP is a joke ... so I'm making a joke out of it. Hope that helped.

the fact you give China and WHO a pass is utterly amazing..calling it a Republican Recession -
so I guess you'll be dropping the "extension of the Obama economy" meme as well?

Nice point ... lefty circle-jerk logic

Anything good it's 0bama's legacy Trump inherited ... Anything bad it's 0bama's legacy that Trump ruined ... rinse and repeat.

Bravo.

An inspired post.

I don't agree with all of it, but appreciate the honesty.

Hello Ron Mars,

Nothing to see here, folks. Just more of the same old meaningless stereotyping.

Those in search of inspired comments; just move right along. Won't be found here...

So you want to have a serious conversation that the drop in oil prices is a failure of the President?

You might as well have a discussion about which kind of cheese the moon is made of.

Even a fool can see the drop in oil is due to a drop in demand ... people aren't driving ... they aren't buying gas ... OPEC's latest oil war didn't help.

I have no problem discussing a serious issue seriously ... this isn't one of them.

If this doesn't help then try looking up at the sun for awhile.

Noble words, but false. The "energy boom" began long ago during Obama's tenure. Remember fracking? That's what has led to our energy independence. #COVID45 did not invent or create or promote that. It was like that when he got here. Can you name one single bill or other act that IMPOTUS signed that boosted the energy sector? (Dumping coal ash into our waterways does not count.)

So now we have a lefty who starts a thread that basically celebrates the loss of so many oil industry jobs ... and then he blames the President seeking political points.

You all think that any factual-but-negative points about your Mango Messiah equals "celebrating." Yesterday one of your ilk claimed that lefties are "celebrating death" because we were disputing her claims that the case and death toll numbers of COVID-19 are fake news.

Trumpistas are desperate. The writing is on the wall for the one-term IMPOTUS. The pandemic brought him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grow up and into the office that he holds. He blew it in a stellar manner. He is not responsible for the drop in oil prices any more than he was responsible for the wonderful economic conditions that he inherited. He IS responsible, however, for the pandemic response in the U.S.

How's that working out?

Congrats, Ron.

You have successfully performed an intellectual Orchiectomy on PoliTalker...who claims to be...an intellectual.

Mil gracias and welcome to JPP.

Sure, you're a nice lady ...

Then President Donald Trump took office and announced a radical departure from 50 years of received energy "wisdom." In a speech to the Energy Department months after taking office, he said that for decades leaders peddled the myth of energy scarcity. Most of it is self-imposed, he said. What the country needs, he said, isn't "alternative" energy, or new austerity measures. It's a government that "promotes energy development." Trump listed actions he was taking to lift federal impediments to energy production.

Lo and behold, Trump was right.

Advanced drilling technologies have opened vast expanses of domestic oil and natural gas. And as domestic production skyrocketed, imports have been steadily dropping.

Trump doesn't deserve the credit for this boom. Oil companies do. But unlike his predecessors, Trump understands that energy independence doesn't require yet another "energy plan" that tells people to wear more sweaters in the winter and wastes money on "new" energy sources.

It just requires government to get out of the way so that oil companies can get at the vast supplies of good old oil and gas right under U.S. soil.

I still remember the days of 0bama's economic team telling us to get used to the new economic normal ... you'll have to peddle this to a millennial.

Sure, you're a nice lady ...

Them's your words, not mine. I'm not nice at all. Are you one of those who prefer women to be agreeable and quiet? Good luck with that.

Obama has nothing to do with Trump's belated response to COVID and for spending critical months downplaying the risk.

Experts and non partisans should investigate how this all transpired, in all countries including China.

I do not accept baseless accusations of Trump boot lickers.

It is never too late for redemption. At some point you may want to reflect on how foolish it was for you to put the welfare of our nation into the hands of an uniformed. moron.

I'm looking for posts which challenge the mind more than the emotions.

You had a good one going here in the beginning, but it didn't follow through very well.

Perhaps you could discuss your cheering (“go, go, go”) for the economic loss to millions of Americans and their families due to the Chinese virus.

That was fairly emotional.

more garbage.
China and the WTO lied about the infectious nature of the virus. But still Trump put on 2 travel bans at the end of Jan and early Feb.

The CDC turned down the WHO testing design,it was also the FDA -in other words the usual D.C. SNAFU.

So you do not mention any of this in favor of some "Trump did it nonsense" -letting China off the hook.
This is how deranged your mind has become because of the obsession over "Trump boot lookers"
~~

PS -putting China into any investigation of Chinese malignant behavior is worse then counter-productive.
They already covered up their response -why would you want them part of any investigation?

In order for any of this to be true you have some work to do ...

Close your eyes ... click your Birkenstocks together three times ... and repeat "there's no place like liberalland ... there's no place like liberalland ... there's no place like liberalland."

Did it work ... did your fantasies come true ... did your spell turn Trump into a bad deal maker?

Keep trying ... it worked so well for Mueller and his merry band of neoprogs.
Sounds like you have the routine down pat, how often do you practice?
