Sure banana boy. Here's the deal. There is ZERO evidence that he broke into any home. In fact, in the neighborhood this occurred in, there had been one burglary, which was the theft of a handgun from the car of one of the killers. The 'video surveillance' that supposedly showed a crime was from a camera located at a house that was under construction. So, even if he was the man that was caught on that camera, there was nothing stolen from the site, so his only crime would be trespassing. So the narrative that these guys were chasing a fleeing criminal is totally bogus, since no crime had occurred. So when a jogger is running down the road, he is not obligated to flee because he encounters a couple of knuckledragging racist morons with guns (you know, kind of like you). He went around the truck to avoid the man standing in front of him with a shotgun. Get it now, chiquita? Stop blaming the victim of this heinous crime, and quit defending the scumbags that committed the crime.

A USA Today investigation shows that there had been no police reports of break ins or burglaries from Jan through February in the area. It appears Gomer and Gomer Jr were lying about the “recent break in”. In which case their citizen arrests alibi falls apart.

It involved a Smith & Wesson M&P 9 mm pistol stolen Jan. 1 from a pickup truck outside 230 Satilla Drive, the home of Travis McMichael, according to the police report.
Gregory McMichael moved the 2011 Ford F-150 from one spot to another in front of the home at around 9:30 a.m. Jan. 1, forgetting to lock it afterward, Travis McMichael told police. About an hour later, Travis McMichael found the handgun’s empty holster on the unlocked truck’s seat, the report said.

Here’s the shitkicker for these two dim bulbs. Because their alibi was they were making a citizens arrest even if they are not convicted in State Court they will be open to prosecution for Federal Civil rights violations. They won’t be seeing daylight anytime soon.

I'll acknowledge there have been multiple times we've read about an incident, and based on that information we become emotionally invested in the story and injustice, to then find out differing facts later. And once you're emotionally invested it's hard to turn that off regardless of the new info.
So I had that in the back of my mind when originally reading this story. And maybe some unknown information will come out later. But as of right now, I see absolutely nothing justifying the actions of these two guys and they shouldn't see the light of day again. And yes, there are 'race hustlers' in the country who profit off racial inflammation and division. But there are also people, like several ITT, who will never see anything wrong with what these guys did (for a couple of reasons, race being the biggest).
So you admit that they had good reason to fear for their lives.
The video shows that he "ripped brother" was trying to rip a shotgun away from the elder McMichaels when his son shot him.

I'm a white guy, if two white dudes with guns in a truck come up to me and say "we want to ask you some questions" I'm probably going to sh*t my pants. I can only imagine a black dude (in the deep South) having that same experience. (And I'm not sh*tting on the South with that statement but it's impossible to not know the history of the area)
