Ahmaud Arbery shooting

Lying propagandist, he didn't walk through a construction site he entered the home and was in it for several minutes he was not only trespassing but likely burglarizing and he wasn't jogging he fled the crime scene then attacked and tried to disarm the men who attempted to place him under a lawful citizens arrest.

Do you jog in timberland boots?

Where's your proof that he was wearing Timberlands?

Irrelevant. I don't recall saying "he was robbing a construction site."

:D

Aw, what a sweetheart.

So cute and fluffy. :D

It's him in the surveillance tape it's on the same street he was stopped at, he's seen on camera running from the house onto the road, he matches the description and the clothes described in the 911 call, nobody jogs in timberland boots and the citizens arrest was absolutely legal under Georgia law:

2010 Georgia Code
TITLE 17 - CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
CHAPTER 4 - ARREST OF PERSONS
ARTICLE 4 - ARREST BY PRIVATE PERSONS
§ 17-4-60 - Grounds for arrest
O.C.G.A. 17-4-60 (2010)
17-4-60. Grounds for arrest

A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge. If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion.

No it’s not. Reference the GA state code. Trespassing is not a crime for which you can make a citizens arrest. It has to be a felony crime and you have to have been an eye witness or have immeadiate knowledge of the crime none of which apply here. Nor did I see enough here for a positive id. Nice try but even if a positive ID is made here it doesn’t justify use of deadly force or assaulting someone with a deadly weapon, then claiming self defense when that person defended themselves.

The fact that that Bubba and Son were arrested 36 hours after the case was handed to the State level and given the local police departments reputation for incompetence it’s petty evident that Bubba and son fucked up big time.

Me: Who said he was wearing Timberland boots? It's clear from the slow motion video that he was wearing sneakers. "Mr. Arbery, who was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, Nike sneakers and a bandanna when he was killed, had been out exercising."

You: Deleting a post that I captured anyway in 711, with a comment implying that (paraphrasing) the shoes weren't Nikes. :D

So you say. :D

Yes he was behind the truck door. Then if you watch carefully, he ran around and in front of the truck, getting in the jogger's path.

Even if the guy was up to no good that doesn't give them carte blanche to act like vigilantes.

This is the primary concern law enforcement had about stand your ground and open carry laws. That they would encourage vigilantism. There was just another incident where a group of vigilantes in North Carolina formed a vigilante squad that was led by an off duty Deputy in uniform. A teenage white girl had ran away from home and they heard that she had gone to a black teenage boys home. So the illegal posse went to the home of a black family and tried to force entry to see if the girl was there. They group was armed with shotguns and an AR-15. The family refused them entry as not only was the girl not there, they had went to the wrong house.

Fortunately the Sheriffs dept did the right thing and immediately fired the deputy plus charged him with multiple crimes.

I feel like there is still some unanswered questions about what exactly occurred. Two things could be true in this story:

1) the guy wasn't just "out for a jog" as the media has portrayed; it's possible he was casing the construction site with plans to either rob it then or in the future

2) IF that was the case the two guys should have called the cops. IF that was true they still had NO right to chase him down, with weapons, and demand that Arbery speak to them.
