Yup, just out jogging with boots on...PIC

Nobody blasted a petty thief. Someone blasted an assailant.

Wait a minute, the gomers, two of them, jump out of the vehicle to confront the kid because they think, repeat think, he is a thief, holding a gun and you think the kid is the assailant?

What's your point, that there are no high-top Nikes?

Maybe you don't know what the difference between "high-top running shoes" and "Nike sneakers" is.

Since you buy cheap knockoffs, it's hard to blame you, much.

I got a pair of Timberland knock-offs a couple of years ago when they were the fashion, and they are tight at the ankle. All the ones I've seen men wear are also tight at the ankle.

All footwear is tight at the ankle when you have cankles. :D

I think the man who attacked Mr. McMichaels is an assailant.

BTW, is "gomer" a pejorative you'd apply to a POC?

Should I have typed "high top Nike sneakers? Mr. DDG says that's an acceptable term. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=high+top+nike+sneakers&atb=v215-1&iax=images&ia=images

It makes good financial sense to pay less for items you're buying only to follow a current fad. I expect you pay more for your flannel shirts and pocket protectors, though. :D

 Btw, I have cankles like race horses have cankles.

The guy jumped out of the truck holding gun and confronted the kid, and you think that guy is the victim here?

Not being personal or anything, buy you must have had a very sheltered life to think that anyone who jumps out of a vehicle even without a gun and confronts you for no reason that you understand isn't an immediate physical threat

The McMichaels don't deserve respect after doing what they did on camera. It would be hard to claim presumption of innocence.

Really? You're OK with calling people derogatory names if you don't like something they did?

It would be hard to claim presumption of innocence.

I don't know how to tell you this, but every accused is entitled to the presumption of innocence in American jurisprudence. That's why defendants charged with a crime don't have to prove they are innocent, and why prosecutors have to prove defendants are guilty as charged.

I don't recall saying Mr. McMichaels was a victim. He might have been, had he not defended successfully himself against assault, which he is entitled to do.

He never “leveled” the gun at him. If he had the thug woulda been dead by gun shot sooner and would have never been able to grab it!

They were on the phone with 911 when the thug attacked. You dont call 911 and have them on the phone if your intent is to murder someone

their intent was to hold him till police got there, but the Thug attacked

Doesn't everybody, including you?

You're not telling me anything I don't know. I'm giving my forum opinion, not a legal opinion.
