Actually it's both for personal protection and not spread the virus if infected.
Thanks!
I won't argue with that!
But, there will be others that will, and that's why I didn't mention that.

Anyone stupid enough to argue the facts won't be arguing with us but the brightest and best the worlds medical community has to offer.
Do you wear a mask in public places?
If so why?
If not why?
I look at people in the stores not wearing one as inconsiderate and selfish.Doing the right thing is not virtual signaling. It is however shaming those who don't.
No.
None of the typical masks will have any effect on virus transmission, and I believe we have all already been exposed to it by now, if you are anywhere near an urban or suburban area
Way to dodge the question. So lemme get this straight....... Spread regular flu that kills= just fine. Spread H1N1 that kills= just fine. Spread covid= NOT fine. Hmmmmmmmmm,.... odd.![]()
It goes beyond just common courtesy but not possibly infecting others if you are asymptomatic.
I wear one to bed even.........lol
I wear one @ work etc except if I go for a walk/bike ride or hike...
If I come across ppl I simply avoid them, cross the street etc..
I started doing it before it was required to help alleviate fears for ppl that are vulnerable or just scared...
As you noted, we could be asymptomatic..
We are just opening up here so it will be interesting to see if ppl continue to wear a mask & take the precautions..
You're bullshiting yourself and a selfish prick,do the world a favor and die.

I totally disagree. If the masks were not working the entire world would not be wearing them. You look at it as protection from only but that is on half the equation. You wear a mask to pervent passing the virus along. Look at Life is Golden's chart it explains the reasons.

Pregnant women once took thalidomide religiously, because the FDA said it was "OK".
People once ate Valium like Chicklets, because "they" said it was "OK".
People believed margarine was healthier than actual butter...because...well, you get where I'm going.
The science is NOT "SETTLED".
"Everybody's doing it" doesn't work for me.
Do face masks really reduce coronavirus spread? Experts have mixed answers.

If you believe that loose-fitting fabric has an effect on airborne viruses, that's fine with me.
