54% Say Administration Is Major Source Of Corona Misinformation

Donald claimed it was totally under control.
He basically is. No one is totally under control.
Obviously we can now see that was major misinformation.

He said he would release his taxes, too, but that was a lie.
He is not required to release his taxes. People are also allowed to change their mind.
And he claimed Mexico was going to be paying for the wall. Another lie.
They are paying for the wall. Not for its construction, but because it can't get illegals across the wall so easily now.
He said the economy is going to bounce right back. It didn't.
It did. It will again.
Now he says there will be a vaccine just as soon as you vote for him.
Trump does not manufacture vaccines.
And if you believe that he's got a great university you can attend to learn how to get rich quick.
You can get a scholarship from his own charity organization.
The degree you will receive will be BS.

Bulverism fallacy. Untreated TDS.

"Over half of the people surveyed in an April poll said President Donald Trump's administration was responsible for significant amounts of misinformation on the new coronavirus.

A survey by Gallup and the Knight Foundation that interviewed 1,693 adults across all 50 states and the District of Columbia who were members of Gallup's panel April 14-20 found that 54% of respondents said the Trump administration was either the largest or second-largest source of coronavirus misinformation.

Respondents were asked what they thought were the "main" and "next most common" sources of "false or misleading information about the coronavirus in the US." The choices were the Trump administration, mainstream national news, social-media websites and apps, state elected officials (governors), friends and family, and local news."

Business Insider

Expectedly, party affiliation determined what people believed.

Republicans say the mainstream news is the most responsible for misinformation, and Democrats say it is Trump and Republicans.

"The White House has not responded to Business Insider's request for comment at the time of publication."
