Dude, we're all related. Geneticists proved the term "race" is obsolete. Our differences are cultural, not genetic. That said, why do the Arabs want to murder all of their cousins?
You do realize that Arabs are also descendants of Abraham according to both the Bible and the Koran, right? This idea that they wouldn't have a genetic link is crazy. Of course they'd have a genetic link. Abraham also was picked out of people that already existed... so a genetic link to another people is also expected if you believe that Bible or that Koran.
Now what causes the problems is Abraham chose to stick with Sarah, and kicked Ishmael and his mother out of the tent...

Of course not. Both have been heavily edited over time to suit political agendas. Anybody thinking that either is an authentic historic text is a naive whacko.
Palestine has been inhabited since the neolithic era. Tribes developed their own religious beliefs but they are all the same people.
This study provides some detailed specifics.
Yet the genetic link is written right there in those books. To say that this hurts their faith seems wishful to me. They'd have to be totally ignorant of their own beliefs to believe that this changed anything at all.

And so they are. It suits the Zionist agenda to deny any genetic links with the indigenous Palestinians- even though the indigenous Jews ARE indigenous Palestinians. This study serves to undermine the Zionist agenda.

It doesn't change anything at all for them. They believe that they are all descendants of Abraham, they have always believed this. This is my point, they'd either have to ignore their beliefs and pretend there would be no genetic link or this is not news.

I agree- the study provides regional genetic detail, which can be considered to be novel information- but it won't make the slightest dent in the established bigotry.
It's useful to shove in the spokes of the Zionist propaganda machinery though.

Are there any modern Jews which are descendants of the Caananites? I thought American Jews and those occupying Israel now are of European descent. Therefore, it seems Palestinians have more of a claim to bring the descendants of Abram, than do modern day Jews.

Though it is funny how something as simple as the origin of the Jews and Arabs can prove three religions false.
