George Floyd full autopsy report just released

Floyd was handcuffed and on the ground. He's not going anywhere. The Cops could have backed off and let Floyd flop around if that is what is happening.
Thank God Floyd was 'black'. White people wouldn't have complained about the Police treatment. They would have stood there, sucking their thumbs.

I guess a flailing answer is better than none at all lol.

If Floyd were white this thread wouldn’t exist and we all know it.

That one has never tried to restrain a person on drugs before lol.

They should have allowed Floyd to run amok till he calmed down. Maybe have a chat with him the next morning or something.

I know a lot more about restraining people on drugs [like when they are coming out from under anesthesia] than I do about police work. Even average size individuals can take two or three people to restrain if the individual is under the influence.

If the cops were forced to handcuff Floyd and even place him on the ground to protect themselves [that always gets lost in these things] and/or Floyd—nothing in my experience tells me that it was out of line. It would interesting to know if the knee to the neck is an appropriate technique—but simply forcing Floyd to the ground doesn’t seem outlandish to me, at all.

No one is complaining about 'handcuffs'.
No one is complaining about putting Floyd 'on the ground'.
The Complaint is 'Police Brutality' .
Standing on the neck of someone cuffed and on the ground IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Yes. Agreed. Government Death Squad kills a bunch of people in Waco. One fucking guy stages a Protest, all the other Whites stand their sucking their thumbs saying "Those 80 people deserved to die".
The Blacks are doing us all a Favor. Thank God for our Negroes!

How does an office with so many complaints still have a job? Someone was protecting him....
Yes...some unions very :(

News Flash: Unions protect their Members.
(remember when the children became unruly and you had to pin them to the floor and step on their necks)

If the cop were placing undo force on Floyd’s neck he could have easily given him a spinal cord injury or even killed him.

The autopsy report mentioned ‘neck compression’ as a contributing factor. It’s plausible the cops knee compressed the blood vessels in Floyd’s neck and Floyd blacked out from lack of oxygen to the brain and then went into respiratory arrest—and quickly down hill from there.

I don’t pretend to know if ‘knee to the neck’ is an acceptable policing technique or not. If it is, then it’s not police brutality.

That would leave gross negligence resulting in death. I see little to no chance of a murder charge surviving—and it could be a grave mistake for the prosecution to go for it, under the circumstances.

Fentanyl, pot, meth. Were those lethal doses?

Fentanyl is a very dangerous drug that kills who knows how many people a year.

I don’t even want to know what Fentanyl+meth does to a person. Suffice to say Floyd was likely ‘acting a little crazy’.

Ok lol.

Darth: "If the cop were placing undo force on Floyd’s neck he could have easily given him a spinal cord injury or even killed him."
Jack: Yes. Do you see a Problem here?

Darth: "The autopsy report mentioned ‘neck compression’ as a contributing factor. It’s plausible the cops knee compressed the blood vessels in Floyd’s neck and Floyd blacked out from lack of oxygen to the brain and then went into respiratory arrest—and quickly down hill from there."
Jack: Mmmm ... yeah.

Darth: "I don’t pretend to know if ‘knee to the neck’ is an acceptable policing technique or not. If it is, then it’s not police brutality."
Jack: Wow. Yes, Darth. If the Government says it's 'OK', who are you to question the Policy.

Darth: "That would leave gross negligence resulting in death."
Jack: Yes. One would think that.

Darth: "I see little to no chance of a murder charge surviving—and it could be a grave mistake for the prosecution to go for it, under the circumstances."
Jack: Well, Darth. You may be out voted on this one.

Unions :( Now that they've crossed over to the dark side....
No such memories....

And 6-6 or whatever and on several drugs.

I’m not defending the cops. I’m telling you the angle the defense will probably take. They will also likely claim that the restraint by the cops wouldn’t have killed a healthy person—and they would be likely right.

Floyd had free morphine in his blood. People die from going into respiratory rest, every day, from being on opiates. How will the prosecution maintain that that didn’t contribute to Floyd’s death?

The only real weak point for the defense is that Floyd went unresponsive and the cops didn’t act appropriately when he did. I’ll wager they could have revived him with Narcan.

What did Floyd’s race have to do with any of this again? Nobody seems to have an answer for that.

Keep up please. We already invented systemic racism so we can call something racist without proof of racism.

Well, is knee to the neck an accepted restraining technique or not?

Ask your daughter if she thinks Unions are the Problem. Or ... does she think it might be something else?
I imagine she'd question why the officer was still working with so many complaints.... She's been familiar with "something else"...as you might know...or perhaps not.... for quite some time;)
