It makes zero difference here. Powell is rightly speaking out because DT is that bad. Here is another prominent Republican endorsement of Biden. Powell would not normally support Joe Biden. We know this. But these are not normal times. A mentally ill person as become president and he is causing havoc here and abroad. This is hurting the USA and the world. Powell gets high marks for having the integrity to cross the isle when the leader on his side is a danger to the Constitution.
I always try to speak up for what is right and that's why I applaud Colin Powell for this.

Most Republicans have been wrong their entire voting lives - about Iraq, about Obama's stimulus, about COVID, about racism, about Trump.
But they just move on from it like it never happened. As soon as Trump came on the scene and said he was a consistent opponent of the Iraq War, they all were, and the Bush's - who they revered - were suddenly pariahs.
