Atlanta Police Chief Resigns After Officer Shoots and Kills Black Man

There is a dumb fuck negro on CNN right now saying they should have called him a cab or Uber

So is that the new protocol for DUI now call the drunk a cab?

Cop was fired. Police Chief resigned. Clearly the cop who killed the man acted improperly.

So it is OK for citizens to ignore the police commands and wrestle them to the ground, take their tasers, or guns, run and then turn back to attack them again? :palm:

This is what is so wrong with the PHONY media narrative; they make people, especially stupid ones, think they do not have to obey our laws or the cops....which leads to more of them getting killed.

Here's a Chris Rock refresher on how to NOT get shot or beat by the cops; it's really quite simple and obvious.....if you're not a complete moron:

Chris Rock - How not to get your ass kicked by the police!

"The death of a celebrity bodyguard in Florida after a shock from a Taser and another death of a Connecticut man who was tasered, have renewed safety concerns about the use of the popular stun guns by law enforcement."
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/are-tasers-too-deadly-be-called-non-lethal-flna8C11077668

“The man who died in New Britain overnight is at least the thirteenth person to die after being tasered by police in Connecticut since 2005, and the fourth in New Britain,” McGuire said.

Ya think?

I am speaking in general terms- Not in exceptional terms.

When 50,000 volts or mini-amps hit your body, if you have a pacemaker or heart condition, it may be deadly. However, to an ordinary average person, they are not deadly.

If they were considered a deadly weapon, the police would not be allowed to carry them. STUN means exactly that- they are intended to stun their victims- not execute them!

2ndly, the police officer, who was engaged in a wrestle on the ground with the victim, pulled his taser, and threatened and even tried to shoot his perpetrator with it. That was pretty stupid in itself, as if he had of hit the man with the taser, with the man having physical contact with the officer, it would have conducted the current and shocked the Fuck out of both of them. And the man just took the gun away from the policeman at that point, worked himself free and got up and ran.

Running from the police, resisting arrest are crimes- and they are punishable by extending time to the already sentence, BUT THEY ARE NOT A DEATH PENALTY CRIME. POLICEMEN ARE NOT EXECUTIONERS.

Ya Think?

Whoops... Look like the family's attorney lied about him not being given a DUI test..he was given a DUI test. He was asked nicely by the cop to pull the car out of the drive-through line and park and get some sleep. Cop than starts to leave

But instead he fell right back asleep again in line that's when the cops asked him to move over again. then he asked how much he had to drink he said a few and he couldn't get his ID out of his billfold.

He blew the DUI test and failed resisted arrest and started punching the cop.

The police are not allowed to just shoot someone, just because they tried to escape, and were running away from with or without a taser, or regardless whether he fired it or not.

If one does not have to obey the police; if one can fight with them and attempt to disarm them; if one can run away without the threat of force; why bother even having a police force? :palm:

I would like all the media talking heads and morons on the left who think they know what it is like to be a cop in a BLUE State Democratically controlled urban shit hole to put on the uniform and experience it for the next six months. Then get back to us on a better way to deal with thugs, drug addicts, criminals and people who have a complete disregard for the police and our laws.

Better yet, just STFU. ;)

Spare me your lame “what if” bullshit, stupid fuck. I grow weary of your concocted “reality”.

Other than the reason for the initial response, his shooting has nothing to do with his DUI, you fucking moron. His shooting was due to more shitty judgement on the part of cops. Another unnecessary death.

Nope, I have no desire to be a cop, bitch. What I want is them to use good judgement and be held accountable when they don’t. If they can’t handle those responsibilities, then they need to find another profession. Comprende, halfwit?

They are not immune from criticism, idiot, despite what a neanderthal like you thinks.

Go be a cop pussy. Then you can criticize. Otherwise STFU

It is not ok to murder a citizen. Sorry, the Mayor of Atlanta and the Police Chief disagree with you.

One should add to Chris Rock's video==

If your car is a smoking, rattling POS and looks something like this...

You may get your ass kicked when they find the drugs you are using in the vehicle...

When are you going to give one fuck about human life?

There are literally thousands of crimes on the law books- Doesn't mean they all have an automatic death sentence.

And even if they did- The arresting officer is not supposed to be the DA, Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

This ain't NAZI Germany, and the Police are not the Gestapo!

This ain't Russia- GO home you Russian Troll!

It's enough that the guy was a belligerent drunk (he fell asleep in his car in the Wendy's drive thru and was being arrested initially for DUI). He fought with the police who apparently either tased him or tried to. He then got ahold of one of their tasers and either pointed or pointed and fired it at the officers.
Tasing him clear was not going to stop him from resisting arrest, fighting with two police officers, and trying to escape. He clearly posed a threat to the officers so they shot him.
The what-if's here include the officer's thinking What if he gets my pistol next? Or, in the heat of things, He's trying to kill me. I think those thoughts are certainly and likely possible with the officers given what the video shows.

I have been unable to find any background on Brooks as to previous arrests or not. Not one article mentions this either way which seems curious. Brooks does say he doesn't want to be "violated" by being arrested in the video. That would tend to indicate he's on probation and a DUI would send him back to prison as that's usually what that means when someone says that in the context of what's going on in the video.

Then comes the death penalty. :rofl2:
