Atlanta Police Chief Resigns After Officer Shoots and Kills Black Man

Agree, he was wrong to assault cops. No question.

He would be alive today if he had acted like a civilized human being. So what do you think promotes this type of behavior?

The PHONY media. They make it appear that you don't have to comply with police requests or act properly. Then the PHONY media promote lie filled narratives like BLM and implicate entire police departments as being racist killers.

You're not smart enough to comprehend the OBVIOUS, :palm:

Correct. And up to the point of taking his hands to cuff him he was very polite and cooperative.

He was DUI, he should have been arrested. He put the public in danger. Anyway, shooting him was not something they needed to do, they knew who he was and where he lived and with the video they had of him there was enough evidence to convict. :dunno:

The cops had the parked car. He was only observed sleeping in a parking lot. Ask for the keys before grabbing his hands to be cuffed. He clearly was compliant until then.

He fell asleep in the line of a drive through, man. He was clearly driving. The evidence was pretty clear.

I didn't deny that. I said the cops were called because someone was asleep at Wendy's parking lot. The first officer had the guy pull into a parking space. My point is that we need to retrain the police to defuse situations. The guy should not be driving. No death should be the end result.

Please, fill me in with your lack of expertise on that subject.

This Thug.. what's a nut.. he could have carjack someone putting their life in danger.. he needed to be stopped and he was

Get the crack out of your pipe, son. The man's offense was being drunk, asleep in a car that was partially blocking a business driveway. He struggles and bolts from the cops, tries to fire a lifted tazer (which is registered by the police nationwide as "Non-lethal") and the pursuing cops, and gets shot in the back. They had his car, drivers license, an apt description....how hard would it have been to run him down that night?

Another case of excessive force that proved deadly....yet how many drunk and rowdy white folk get the same treatment?

Spare me your lame “what if” bullshit, stupid fuck. I grow weary of your concocted “reality”.

Other than the reason for the initial response, his shooting has nothing to do with his DUI, you fucking moron. His shooting was due to more shitty judgement on the part of cops. Another unnecessary death.

Nope, I have no desire to be a cop, bitch. What I want is them to use good judgement and be held accountable when they don’t. If they can’t handle those responsibilities, then they need to find another profession. Comprende, halfwit?

They are not immune from criticism, idiot, despite what a neanderthal like you thinks.

The problem is you talk shit as you sit comfortably in mama's basement protected and safe. You have never fought a large violent man. You have never fought with many of your techniques banned like chokes and strikes. You have never felt the adrenaline and fear of a confrontation and what it can do to your perceptions and judgements. You have never had to make split second life or death decisions. You have never had to do all above while pussies in mama's basement second guess everything you do.

When I was in criminal justice we were taught that if you lose a fight the bad guy is now armed. Since he can take possession of your gun. So a fight against a cop is by definition potentially life and death.

Why is this unknown man fighting so hard? Did he kill someone? You just don't know at the moment but normal people don't fight police upon arrest. So letting him go is not an option.
