It depends. If a person's "free speech" is a lie and intended to cause harm to others, then shouldn't they be held accountable for it? I support gun rights but if a person shoots another person without justification, then they should be held accountable.

I was upset about what happened to them at the time...... I am never in favor of people being forced to not speak....I want people to say all and everything that they want to say so that I can figure out who to and who to not listen to.....who is and who is not a liar......who is and who is not apparently brain damaged.

Most of us agree with that. What you don't like are the consequences. If you own a business and put a sign on the door that says "No ___ allowed" because you don't like "___" people -- and then you get boycotted, was your freedom of speech violated? Of course not. You weren't imprisoned by your local govt., or by the feds either. You just suffered a consequence.

First, it's a discussion. Not a personal attack.
Second, it's about freedom of speech, not what anyone on this forum has done.
I strongly believe in supporting the Constitution, not chipping away at it as partisans on both sides often do. Trump is among them. Agreed both parties have failed most Americans. Our best defense, IMO, is to follow the wisdom of Pastor Martin Niemöller by standing up for the rights of others even if we don't like them:
