I have done a huge amount of driving in both DC and Manhattan, especially Manhattan. If I want to go into NYC now, I have to go by car, because the Commerce Department has banned me from public transportation.

Truckers love to talk. There are truckers talking about everything.

This is brought to us by the same people who brought the Million Trucker demonstration, that could not get even one trucker to show up. I seriously doubt the truckers of America are going to quit their jobs en mass.

Essential workers as defined by the Commerce Department are not allowed to use any public transportation, including commercial plane flights. I often took the car into NYC, but more often took a train into NYC. Now, if I were caught taking a train, I would face steep fines, and loss of essential worker status.

I have driven a UHaul truck in Manhattan, but not a tractor trailer. Still don't believe truck drivers will quit en mass to support your political views. If they do, there are excellent cargo train facilities into NYC. In fact, it is often cheaper to ship by train into Manhattan than by truck. The only reason people use trucks is because they are used to using them elsewhere.
 
The truckers are right.

No police protection, no supplies by truck.

The electricity, gas, water, Internet, phone services, rail and air travel should be cut to these de-funded cities.

They aren't going to quit their jobs, Walter...just not deliver to unsafe, Democrat controlled cities that de-fund their police.
