It is interesting, but from 1920s to 1960s when Jim Crow democrats were waging war on blacks, blacks were as prosperous as they ever were in this country. Harlem was a bustling city of commerce. The illegitimacy rate in the black community as lower than that for whites.

But, then along came the racist Lyndon Baines Johnson. Remember him? Yeah, he was the guy who hated blacks and blocked civil rights. He unleashed the so called war on poverty. Ever since the decline in the black community is unmistakable at a time when racism is largely gone.

So what the democrat party could not achieve with violence at the hands of their paramilitary arm the KKK or Jim Crow laws, they achieved through the auspices of "caring" for the black man. As long as democrat vote in a bloc for the democrat party, their lives will never improve.

But, maybe someone can tell me when their lives are going to improve now that some statues are down. I can wait

Regardless of how the historical hairs are split, Democrats have latched onto BLM for their usual cynical purposes.

Say Biden wins the election. BLM will head back to the rear seat of bus; Democrats might ‘appoint a committee‘ to look into reparations and/or the insane defund cops lunacy; Democrats leaders will surely see to that one [wink-wink].

They might throw some money at a few black districts.

But that will be the extent of it. Nothing will change—it never does. The reason it doesn’t work is because it can’t work. It would actually be nice if the biggest problem facing the black community were white cops [leaving for the moment, it tends to be white cops in Democrat run cities] because that’s something that at least has a political solution.

There is no political solution for absentee fathers; the government can’t keep young people [of any shade] from having unwanted pregnancies and the government shouldn’t even try if they could. The government has no answer for the empty pews in black churches that used to be filled with solid, stable, black families.

Might as well piss in the wind.

There may be only 5,000 of them...but all 5,000 are registered Republicans and wouldn't vote for a Democrat on a bet.

Not every Republican is a white supremacist...but damn near every white supremacist IS A REPUBLICAN.

And that matter more than the fact that not every Republican is a white supremacist.

It's a different world today than the one you grew up in Frank. In certain black circles Joe Biden is a white supremacist. Why? His voting history, racial rhetoric and especially writing the '94 crime bill which put 100K police officers on the street and spent $10 billion on prisons. To them that supported and reinforced white supremacy in America.

To be a woke progressive white liberal today you have to acknowledge your own racism (think the book White Fragility). You are a racist. I'm sure you probably don't think of yourself as one or think of yourself as supporting white supremacy but the chances are high you have (if you buy this way of thinking). So saying you are a Democrat does not free you of supporting white supremacy.

They have no party. They have no political power. And like the Democrats, they are pissed that Trump killed Solemani. Some do vote democrat because they hate the Jews, and they want welfare and food stamps.

The Dem Media told them that Trump was a skinhead neo nazi. It took them a while to figure out the Dem Media was lying. They are slow like that.

I don’t agree with that at all lol.

Robert Byrd was a Democrat. The KKK has strong historical ties to the Democrat party. It’s hard to believe that all 5,000 went republican. It’s more likely they’d like to bring the Democrat party back to its roots.

Trump, at best, is a ‘mixed bag’ for the KKK. For one, Trump is a ‘Jew lover’ with at least one Jew in his family. That’s a big deal breaker for any Klansman. Trump boasts way too much about the ‘black man’s’ record employment numbers. Or well, he was, before Fauci got ahold of the economy.

Granted, they would be on board with controlling the borders—but that’s a common sense thing. Only idiots want open borders.
