We were pretty "confined" for a while here, but hopefully it's over and we can move forward. I guess we'll see in a few weeks if it helped or not.

Yes, I'd agree. When you're good at something, a small break doesn't affect you much. I shot a few games of pool the other day, I did OK

The problem with the golf courses is that I am a starter. The starters, during the pandemic, are charged with taking out the golf carts first thing in the morning...and sanitizing them. (Too cramped to do the sanitizing in the pen.)

Yeah, you wear gloves and a mask...but at 83, I am not going to take the chance.

Golf courses and beaches are supposed to be the safest spots during this mess, but I am not cleaning carts of potential viruses.

So...if I work, I get free golf as a perk (which is the reason most of us work at golf courses). If I do not work, I have to pay. A round for me would be about $70 each day. I usually play 4 days a week...so that would be $280 a week for golf.

You can see why I am swearing off for a bit.

Rides on dirt bikes must be lots of fun...and great exercise.

Things will get back to normal at some point. Hope it is soon.

It is interesting, but from 1920s to 1960s when Jim Crow democrats were waging war on blacks, blacks were as prosperous as they ever were in this country. Harlem was a bustling city of commerce. The illegitimacy rate in the black community as lower than that for whites.

But, then along came the racist Lyndon Baines Johnson. Remember him? Yeah, he was the guy who hated blacks and blocked civil rights. He unleashed the so called war on poverty. Ever since the decline in the black community is unmistakable at a time when racism is largely gone.

So what the democrat party could not achieve with violence at the hands of their paramilitary arm the KKK or Jim Crow laws, they achieved through the auspices of "caring" for the black man. As long as democrat vote in a bloc for the democrat party, their lives will never improve.

But, maybe someone can tell me when their lives are going to improve now that some statues are down. I can wait

Tearing down statues of the civil war, and taking black people of foods is racist AF. These leftists are pushing their moral and racial superiority over blacks, by showing them only white liberals can save them.

This is soft bigotry but it is as dangerous to minority communities as racism.

Getting rid of all relics of the civil war will cause people to forget Slavery and the great struggle to free the slaves. Taking people of color off food goods is also racist. Saying they aren't allowed to be on foods, again proves their moral and racial superiority.
