Biggest Racist statue goes down

Burning a flag IS criminal activity if it's burning a flag you don't own.
Nothing prevents the federal government from passing a law about burning flags. There is nothing in the Constitution about burning the U.S. flag, and the U.S. flag is a symbol and banner of the government and the people of the United States.

You say you do not support flag burning. Yet, you are condoning flag burning. You are locked in paradox. Which is it, dude?

You are really bad at fallacies.

If I don't like marijuana, but I support others right to toke, is that a paradox?

The 1st amendment does not specify freedom of action or the freedom of arson. The Constitution does not give rights. See the 1st amendment:

Burning a flag is not speech. Burning a flag is not a peaceful assembly. It is not a petition. It is not any form of religion. This amendment applies only to Congress, in that they can pass no law concerning what one can say, what one can petition for, preventing the peaceful assembly of people, limit what people can print, post, produce a video, or cover in any newspaper. They can pass no law establishing a Federal religion, nor can they pass any law that outlaws any religion.

These restrictions apply only to Congress (the federal government). They do not apply to the States. They can pass any of these things legally (and have done so), according to their own State constitutions.

No document gives any right. The Constitution specifies limits to the government to keep their hands off rights you already have.

Burning a flag you don't own is arson and destruction of private property. That's a crime.
Commandeering city streets is theft, intimidation, and kidnapping. Those are crimes. There are residents on those streets that are trapped in there. There is no road anymore.
Defacing buildings you don't own is a crime. It is vandalism.

Nothing in the 1st amendment prevents any government from passing laws against these activities. See the Constitution of the United States and your own State constitution (unless you live in the SOTC, which currently has no functioning constitution).

There is nothing in the 1st amendment that prevents any government from passing any law about burning a flag. It is neither speech nor a religion nor a petition nor an assembly of people. The 1st amendment is not binding upon the States. It applies ONLY to the federal government (Congress). However, State constitutions typically contain similar wording that DOES apply to State and local governments in your State (if you are living in a State of the Union).

This guy keep talking about arson. Why?

One more time, that is called a straw man.

Okay. At this time I'll consider the paradox resolved. You will never make any objection to any law that makes it a crime to burn a flag disrespectfully, and you will never make any argument supporting those that burn the flag disrespecfully (even their own).

Right?

There is no paradox.

I condemn the burning of our flag.

Technically speaking, the way you get rid of an old worn American Flag is you burn it and then bury the ashes. You are not supposed to throw it out. Nor are you supposed to fly a worn out American Flag. I would not expect a fake patriot to know this, but the patriotic thing to do is burn the American Flag.

I do not like burning the American Flag in protest. But the action of burning it is completely acceptable, and is even the honorable thing to do. The problem is we cannot make expressing a negative view through legal actions illegal.

Walt, you needn't tell me about American flag etiquette, my father was a WWII vet and taught me when I was young.

Burning the American flag in front of a WWII vet out of protest or hatred for America would be unhealthy, to put it mildly.
Maybe it's why they waited to make it legal after those vets aged beyond being able to retaliate? Burn my flag? You'll never burn another one.

Walt, you needn't tell me about American flag etiquette, my father was a WWII vet and taught me when I was young.

And yet, I did, because you did not know that you are supposed to burn the American Flag.

I feel so sorry for your father having an America hating Nazi Bitch like yourself. Your Nazism is not going to replace America.

No, we will never "replace" America, but we'll defend it from people like you.

Oh, and if you don't retire (burn) the American flag yourself, take it to the local VFW and they will do it for you.

No, we will never "replace" America, but we'll defend it from people like you.

You Nazis are always whining about "you will not replace us", well guess what, we already have.

Yes, the VFW will burn the American Flag for you. It is usually nice to give them a donation of $20-$100 while you are at it, but not necessary. Would you want the VFW arrested for burning the American Flag?

Why are you such a fucking idiot? Were you born that way, or have you been practicing your whole life?

Writing and speaking are actions.
They are both also rights described in the 1st amendment.
Acting is an action.
Circular definition fallacy.
Burning an effigy is an action.
Correct. It is also not described in the 1st amendment.
And why are you telling me the obvious about arson and destruction of private property?
YOU brought it up. Why did YOU bring it up?
If you own something and destroys or sets it on fire, it is legal.
If, and only if the fire is conforming with the fire codes. So far it is legal.
Into the Night said:
You can say America is going in flames. You cannot necessarily burn a flag.
First Amendment says otherwise.
No, it doesn't.
Into the Night said:
You can hate America (why are you still here???). You cannot necessarily burn a flag.

It is a bad form to make up stories about others. (That is called a straw man).
I do not hate America.
YOU brought up the subject. This is YOUR strawman, if anything. Inversion fallacy.
First Amendment.
Protected by First Amendment. Something you know little about.
Nope. Burning a flag is not mentioned anywhere in the 1st amendment. Nothing prevents Congress from passing laws concerning burning the U.S. flag.
Some people bought their flags too. They are free to burn them.
For now, and only if they are following the fire codes laid out for their area.
Strawman. You keep talking about arson and destruction of private property. If you know the fallacies well, you should know this.
Fallacy fallacy. Inversion fallacy. YOU brought it up.

Translation: I cannot answer the question.

Nope. You don't get to 'translate' by putting words into people's mouths. The question you asked has already been answered. RQAA is an acronym for a repetitive question already answered. I am not here to answer your questions over and over and over and over and over and over and..

YOU brought it up. Why did YOU bring it up?

Stop lying. You brought up arson and destruction of private property.

No, it doesn't.

Nope. Burning a flag is not mentioned anywhere in the 1st amendment. Nothing prevents Congress from passing laws concerning burning the U.S. flag.

Screaming is not mentioned in the First Amendment.

For now, and only if they are following the fire codes laid out for their area.

Finally you're getting it.

Fallacy fallacy. Inversion fallacy. YOU brought it up.

Stop lying. I didn't. You did.
