He was so devastated he couldn't utter a tweet about it until the middle of last night, although he did retweet some Fox clips of old rallies (not 2020) earlier yesterday. So what did he say last night?

He's got a story for everything if you give him time enough to come up with it. He had to have been devastated by the empty arena. And he sure needed a lot of time to come up with his 'story' on this one. If it was what he hoped for he would have been gloating about it all the next day on twitter, but not a peep about it. It's hard to understand why people like DT. He stands for everything wrong. It's pretty hard to figure why people like him. They know he's a liar but they support him anyway. Why?
I was thinking about that the other day, and this whole pandemic thing brought something to light.
DT fans don't want to wear masks. That makes no sense when you think of what would happen if everyone behaved like that. But they don't care.
Here is the only explanation I can come up with.
Most people don't like to be told what to do. That's it!
They are just running with that.
DT tells them it's OK to refuse to do what you're supposed to do. And they love it.
So, you take somebody who has been told what to do their whole life, they resent authority, but they've had to do it to keep a job and have a life.
Now, we get a leader who comes along and tells people it's OK to refuse to do what you're supposed to do. That's what this mindset has been waiting to hear their whole life. That's why they say: "DT tells it like it is, speaks my language."
Their language is somebody with the nerve to stand up to authority and say no I am not going to do that.
They've wanted to do this their whole life and now DT is their hero for doing it.
"Screw the world. Screw the country. Screw society. I'm doing what I feel like doing."
That's the attitude.
So you get this whole pandemic and mask thing; and authority is saying wear a mask. Liberals are wearing masks. DT fans don't want to. And they don't want anybody telling them they have to.
It's the inner rebellious child in them being set free. That's the magic of DT. That's what he does. He speaks to the unruly child in them.
