As for Seattle? That town is dead, stick a fork in them. Retail is leaving; rock concerts and business conventions will never return to the city, and their little new six block CHOP state, well, nobody is going to hand the idiots $358 million to clean it up.

Three hours rental of a ditch witch and a couple of powerful Bobcat mini-dozers will clean the place up fine, at 1/1000th of the cost, and using 6-8 employees willing to work hard at blue collar jobs.

The 2018 mid-terms were, historically, the mid-terms of previous elections. The majority party loses seats. This time though the Republican Senate gained.
