I agree. Occasionally there are very bright, but mentally-ill, fanatics who manage to attract a lot of followers. But in general, the more fundie and fanatical a person is, the less likely they are to be intelligent or educated.

As Christians, we aren't supposed to judge. It's perfectly fine to critique especially in aid but condemnation is a big no.

Fanatics are also more prone to be indoctrinated and exploited, which is a common practice with the right wing.

I wouldn't say that. While some are pretty clueless others are not. If it were up to the Catholic church we wouldn't have opened up so hastily and would still be heeding tremendous caution.

Atheists have NO faith or belief in God. THAT has to be horrific. My sister is an avowed atheist, she's one of THE most miserable individuals I know. Atheism SUCKS.

What sucks is believing something that has no basis in reality you know like Christianity
